SEC went 2-1 vs the little ten on Saturday. If I counted correctly, and I could be wrong, but I think the little ten lost 7 games Saturday. 0-2 vs the sorry acc. Go Dawgs!
Thank God Georgia isn't #1. Not a good place to be. I'm very surprised at how suspect Texas' high priced roster looked. Also Oregon. Something out of sync there. That's why they play the games.
First, Arkansas is just plain BAD. The Utes pummeled them, and I would expect the Dawgs to do the same. They will be a bit edgy and looking for revenge when they come to Athens, so it will be a good next step in the Dawg's transition to better competition.
Manning and Texas looked lost for over 3 quarters against the Buckeyes. But, when they finally got their TEs involved more in Q4 and Manning improvised, their passing game opened up a bit more and their running game started gashing the tired looking Buckeye defense. Manning has still got work to do and hasn't gotten that much better from last season, but he wasn't helped with several key passes dropped. Texas finally was able to affect Smith's insane pass catching ability, and stop the OSU offense late in the game. Another crucial FG missed by a Buckeyes kicker looked all too familiar to me as a Dawgs fan.
Oregon was exposed again as another Lanning Duck's team fails to live up to its pre-season hype. We've read this story before.
Oh, and another thing...
So far this season, the SEC is 8-2 against nonconference Power 4 opponents. The ACC is 5-6 and the Big 12 is 4-7.
The Big Ten? 3-6.

Texas plays one good qtr of football and they are number 1. Ohio State should fall behind ND and Indiana. Oregon disappears completely? - c'mon they should still be top 25. And Michigan should not be back in their preseason ranking after last weeks extra second gift win against a nobody.
Agree with you mostly Mike. I’m moving LSU up from my previous ranking of 6 to 4. Believe they’re better than ND and Ohio State.
@1SICemDAWGS1...yep, I realize that. Arkansas will try and make it a game the first half, as expected, since they will be looking for revenge, but I think the Dawgs will pull away big time in 2H. Arkansas spent the least amount of money in the league on its roster, and the Dawg's talent and coaching is far superior.
I know it's on the road in the SEC, but if we lose that game, the rest of the season doesn't bode well.

Totally agree. Flaws of Georgia are pounced on. But here we excuse and ignore their 3 qtrs ineptitude.
