I appreciate the free content, for sure. However, these articles are sometimes hard to read. It’s clear that some of them were created using voice-to-text and haven’t been proofread. If you want to put out a professional product, you should proofread your articles and clean them up.
As Kirby has said time and again…"You're either elite or you're not"….that will be my mantra going forward to judge the Dawgs this season…after the smoke clears and all the good & bad articles are written, it's pretty clear it's either one or the other.

Hope GS never gets hurt! Our back up QB's looked like they were not ready for primetime against lowly W. KY in the 2nd half. Puglisi and MOntgomery combined were 2-8 passing for 20 yds. The run game wasn't much better as they averaged 4.5 yds a carry. 21 offensive plays ran in the 2nd half- it was ****. Puglisi had no touch on his passes throwing bullets to receivers 5 yards away. I'm like dude just relax it's W. KY and the game is well in hand. I really was thinking Montgomery would come in and look better than Puglisi but was dissapointed. The back up QB for W. KY looked head and shoulders aboove our 2 back ups, and all you hear about is our guys go up against the best of the every week in practice! That didn't age well.
@MontanaDawg I think UGA's front-line players have looked as good as anyone in the nation. I'm not thrown off by the 4th teammers struggling in fourth quarter
@reddawg1 I would be very surprised if UGA's 2027 starting QB didn't come from the transfer portal at this point. Montgomery has looked very good at times, but his sample size is still too small for me to stray from the transfer portal theory. Kirby has mentioned transfer portal QBs efficiency more than once, which leads me to believe he wants to go there… remember, he tried to get Caleb Williams and Mendoza out of portal
I’m afraid I sorta agree with several of the previous comments stating concerns with how our backup QBs have looked so far. It might be nice to get to see them play with the #1s instead of the 3s and 4s to more adequately judge what we really have. I have only seen glimpses of a couple of the freshman QBs at Alabama and Tennessee and while they have made their share of inexperience mistakes they have also shown flashes of brilliance. Now they ARE playing with 1s and that may be the major difference but there is no way to know. That said, our 1s and 2s have looked awful good albeit against real sub- par competition. Guess we fixing to get a better idea. Go Dawgs!
@MikeGriffith…yes, I'd agree although I still think there was a decent drop off in talent from what I saw in the 2s and 3s, especially considering the competition for the last 2 games. And the backup QBs performance was a disappointment overall to me. I saw flashes of good mixed in with more not good. No one is standing out above the crowd in my estimation. Hopefully, they will get more game time at some point…maybe even against Arkansas. I will admit that I didn't watch all of the TN State game but did watch most of the Western KY contest.
Can we pump the brakes before anointing texas is back? They played terrible for 3 quarters and were fortunate that osu had another FG attempt go wide left, which brings back fond memories for us Dawgs fans! If osu makes that FG, this discussion isn't happening. Same for Lsu. Their starters struggled in the first half vs La tech. Georgia's starters haven't struggled at all in the first two games, like most other teams in the conference have.

You are SO spot-on! If Gunner gets hurt we are really screwed. Maybe they are better running with the 1's, but they would still be super green in game experience. I need to go find all my lucky shirts and wear them every day!!
@David1…I 100% agree. Arch is still an average QB under pressure, but he does improvise pretty well. The fact that he just isn't reading the field correctly, seeing open receivers, or moving through his progressions like some elite QBs I saw play these weekend just shows me he hasn't really gotten that much better from the end of last season. Texas had a little lady luck on their side with the missed FG by OSU. And those Buckeyes on defense were a bit gassed by Q4. Texas has a tough schedule ahead of them, and I am still predicting that they lose (2) regular season games.
Not sure Texas is really back. They were very fortunate to beat OSU. OSU is the better team. Ryan Day lost the game. First, a terrible decision to go for it on 4th down instead of kicking short FG. Second, taking foot off the pedal when up 23-3. Poor coaching! It reminded me of our playoff game against Ole Miss when our play calling went wat too conservative after we got a comfortable lead.
Texas got lucky. They still have a number of SEC games to go. Doubt they will be unable to go the distance without a couple of setbacks. LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and even Tennessee may upset them.
I dunno if Arkansas' stock is down when everyone already knew they were going to ****….
The more I read from the Boston Massachusetts Mike Griffith, the more I convinced that he does not even like UGA Dawgnation or the UGA football program. We deserver writers who are Dawg enthusiasts themselves. Griffith does not pass the smell test.
I credit a lot of Texas' victory over OSU to Muschamp who made significant halftime defensive adjiustments that froze out OSU's star receiver. Home field advantage helped and Texas seemed better conditioned than OSU as the game progressed into the 4th quarter. Looking ahead, I see two, three potentially even four losses for them this season as they play several good teams. TAMU will beat them. LSU will beat them. Ole Miss should beat them, and Tennessee can beat them. They will be lucky to limp into the SECCG.
