Kirby Smart made it sound like playing opportunities for reserves will be more limited if they’re unable to show they can execute.
“They’ve had (snaps) for three straight games and it hasn’t helped, we (subbed them) last game and they didn’t play good, we did it the game before that and they didn’t play good, we did it this game and they didn’t play good, so that tells me we can’t play them,” Smart said.
Not good. Yes, we all saw that performance the last 2 weeks. Glad KJ is an elite leader...and not injured like I thought!

That is simply embarrassing considering the competition so far. Geez.
I'm not particularly sold on the secondary. Supposed to be a strength but way to many wide open receivers today. Do that against Oklahoma and all of the sudden Mateer looks like an All American.
I agree, but I think our secondary would look a lot better if we had a decent pass rush. Also, thank you Coach Smart for saying what I was thinking — a “piss-poor performance” today by the defensive reserves. I’m still trying to figure out what Cayden Harris (#18) was doing out there at cornerback. I’ll bet Kirby is, too.
Totally agree concerning the pass rush. I got downvoted for even bringing it up. Maybe its me, but I see no improvement from last year. When the "real" season starts next week, we better fix it!
