Surprised Taylor and Humphreys weren't targeted. And only a couple of passes to TEs. I think that will change going forward against better competition. Still not much of a pass rush from the DL. Argh. We used to be able to produce havoc with the front 3-4 guys. Now we gotta bring in LBs or DBs to make it work, and even then, it still isn't happening often.
Oklahoma still trying to figure out their offense. They managed only 61 yards of rushing against the LoBos. Pitiful. I expect the Dawgs to smother them in Sanford.
Was disappointed in the O-line play for the game. We will need to get this figured out before OK. Another thing that baffles me is the lack of our TE usage. The TE room is easily the strength of the offense but seems to be an after thought a lot of the time.
I think Humphreys took that punter’s soul when he blocked the punt. Maybe the replay made it look worse. Did the punter go back in after that play?
The Ark game should’ve been a game where we test Gunner. Without his two throws mentioned above his yards is under 100. Yes we won big, but I watch other games and offenses and defenses are flying and clicking and wonder, when will we see that? Few years back when we played Oregon, that’s what I wanna see.
I was thinking the same thing while watching both Bama and Ole Miss.
The grade for the DBs should be at least a C. They allowed too many big pass completions in the first three quarters. It wasn’t just the backups that allowed the completed passes.
I agree wanted to see Gunner tested, I'm waiting to watch some film break down but it looked again like he passed on some reads, maybe! But watching Trinidad last night it's easy to see what arm talent is and threading balls into tight windows and what Gunner either can't or is hesitant to do on a regular basis and why Chambliss is the best QB in the SEC not to mention his elite mobility. It's Gunnere 5th year in campus and processing routes should not be an issue and he can't wait for guys to be wide open. Beck's first year starting he was throwing the ball before WR even broke his route because he new the WR would be open that anticipation is what Gunner needs to be better at.
Yeah to many yards against 1st team, was a little concerning as was the O-line pass pro and some of the run blocks!
You'll never catch me complaining much about a 28 point SEC road win. And I'm fine with this offense...very physical and will break the will of the opposing defenses as they game wears on. I said before the season, the offense and defense will complement each other very well in 2026. With that said, yeah the Dawgs don't want to go against OU with OL issues. Also, as poorly as OU played, we know they are saving it for this Saturday...just like Ole Miss did last season vs WSU.

First, that is a silly statement because that is not a bad average. It should actually read “ Stockton completed 10 of his ONLY 13 attempts.” I am happy we can run the ball but we must be balanced and this game called for more throws. I agree with @Draftpick01 in that Chambliss looked good. Heck, a lot of QBs looked good. Stockton looked efficient, and I don’t necessarily blame him. Maybe he changes plays but he isn’t generally calling them. I
I will say, he doesn’t seem to see the wide open man and, rather than run through progressions, generally opts to run it. Sure, that can work but you gotta be able to throw to the open man. I am lost on how Humphreys gets one target when he was open a lot.

It seemed as if the coaches didn't want to show anything to OU's defense except that they will have to account for Gunner as a runner. Maybe that will open up their secondary a bit. If that was UGA's plan, maybe not a bad one. Obviously the offense's vanilla play calling was all that was needed against Arkansas.
Also, I need to rewatch the game, but seemed like Gabe Harris didn't impact the game.
Loved the linebacker play. Justin seems to be playing at a much higher level than last year.
The secondary play wasn't spectacular, but Arkansas' #1 receiver was making some catches that were hard to defend.
I look forward to a complete team effort against OU.

I feel like all in all, the dawgs are dialing in! When your culture has your ones and twos doing defensive drills during tv time outs when you’re up by 4-5tds……. I’m excited.
I feel like the twos kinda got sloppy out there….. or we may have seen why some are backups.

Surprised to see TE’s still only targeted 30% of passing downs. Especially with an OL only giving Gunner 3 seconds or less in the pocket. Seems like short routes to the most talented group would be higher.
Actually Humphreys had a catch too in the game, but it was negated in the statistics by Ekene Ogboko's penalty of being too far downfield on the play. A shame too as it was a great catch by London on that play and another example of Gunner's improvement on throwing downfield.
