They are raving on and on about Curtis. But I bet Mateer is even with all the mistakes a Much better QB. The Dawgs defense got to Mateer EARLY and Often. They rattled Mateer from the very start and kept him rattled. And here’s the thing Mateer is an Experienced SEC QB.
Curtis probably has the natural skills they brag about. But he’s never faced a defense like the Dawgs will bring !! He’s gonna be wishing he hadn’t snubbed KS and the Dawgs !! Oh he’ll make some plays, probably score a bit. But I’m believing the Dawgs are gonna devour him like a nice steak !! Go Dawgs !!

He will get the opportunity on Saturday to experience something that he isn't prepared for; that's the speed and violence brought on by the UGA defense. Not NC State, Delaware, or even Auburn can serve as a comparison to this Dawgs defense. He wanted immediate playing time as a true Freshman without having to compete for the job, so he's about to learn what comes with the job. It's not all about how good he is, it's also about how good his OL is and I'm not sure anybody on that team is ready for what they are about to see!

I do not wish for Curtis to be crushed mentally, but I want him to exit the game knowing he should have been willing to develop for a season or two. "Humble yourself!"
Gezzz he’s not the only player to spur Georgia. Move on and beat Vandy not Curtis. He’s just another name on a team Georgia will beat. He will be in the TP after a few losing seasons at Vandy. Go Dawgs

Time for UGA D to show it still has that killer instinct. Time to show these QB's that disrespected UGA that there will be consequences. Start with Curtis this week. Then Philo vs FU. Then Manning in the SECCG. Then Raiola in the playoffs. If you are a UGA defender and you don't show up this week foaming at the mouth, next man up.
Better beat him now, because next year he is going to light everyone up!
yes, it irritates me how he treated GA but I just want us continue getting better- in the process show him what he could have been a part of. He probably wants to show GA something, too but I couldn’t care less about him now
yes, folks getting so worked up about Curtis that they forget that we are playing the Vanderbilt Commodores, not just Curtis. And as fired up as UGA might be to face him, he’s also going to be hyped up to prove to everyone that he made the right decision by switching to Vandy. I hate what he did and how he did it, but these games calm for players to remain calm and composed and not let their emotions get the best of them — like Colin Simmons of Texas.
The QB that played the best football on Saturday, and also spurned Georgis, was Oregon's Dylan Raiola. After taking over for the injured Moore, Raiola went 19/25, 289 yards, 2 TDs, no picks or sacks. He actually looked even better than Moore and in more control of the offense.
But the biggest glaring stat that shows you how well he played: 9-9 for 159 yards on seven 3rd down conversions.
No doubt JC has potential but he is surrounded by 21 other team mates that will likely not win a SEC competition in 2026….maybe a win against The Razorbacks or maybe the Wildcats but that's it…..that equals NO post season bowl, no exposure….If he has any ambition, any desire to become a NFL draft pick sense, JC will hit the portal soon, otherwise he'll remain just another great HS QB. JC's D allowed the #110 team, Delaware score 26 points???
Vandy with 24 is a bad bet come Saturday.
