Even though the coaches don't put much if any effort into this poll, they are unlikely to penalize a team for winning a road SEC game no matter how sloppy it was. For now at least, their SOS will keep them above the Dawgs in both polls, but it's probably obvious to most folks that there wouldn't be an uproar if the teams flipped. It would be interesting to see the effect of Will Muschamp if Texas/UGA met this regular season, but I'm happy not having to worry about that. The Texas defense is elite, but watching their offense/special teams was painful at times yesterday. They just never consistently have a polished well coached look with those units.
