FU's defense ain't all that. They gave up a lot of points to Auburn. I know that the media wants to build this one up. Kirby ain't worried about no gators.
"Georgia coach Kirby Smart has publicly referred to his Tuesday practices with the same phrase since at least the 2021 CFP championship season, but the terminology actually goes back to former Ohio State and Florida coach Urban Meyer."
I'm sure every program has it's own version of "Bloody Tuesday", even if they call it by another name or no name at all. It is very likely that the term goes back even farther than Urban Meyer and his tenure at the University of Florida. This appears to be a very effective way to keep everyone ready for contact and operating at the height of physicality when Saturday rolls around. As for the Georgia Bulldogs, I think it has been especially effective in making the defensive secondary better tacklers since Smart took over.
GO DAWGS!
