Frazier coming in!
I'm not surprised. All week long, people on this site were poo-pooing Vandy and talking about how Curtis was "scared" and how we were going to manhandle them. I kept saying that it's the SEC and that NO TEAM should be taken for granted or overlooked. People kept talking about what we would do to Curtis, and we can't even contain his backup. I am surprised, though, at how many blown assignments we've had, both on offense and defense. Like, we can't even seem to line up right. And surprised that as our coaches see this, they didn't take timeouts to correct it — like on that last Vandy third down when we only had two DBs to cover their three receivers. Alabama might not call a single running play next week. I wouldn't.
DAWGS look very bad so far. Offense looks pretty good but can we please stop with the bubble screens. Do more slants or wheel routes to do the same thing but better odds. Defensive backs look horrible against a mediocre receiver corps. Why so much of a cushion? Blown assignments, terrible interference calls when the DB had no reason to interfere, and just terrible coverage. Each week is its own game and if this doesn’t change, Bama and Ole Miss will give us fits. Need to lock down in the second half and check in and see how much it would cost to get Muschamp to come home!
Go DAWGS!
And the first play us a useless screen.
So happy to see Frazier.
Wow. Had to bring in Frazier, because you can't run the ball. Sad.
Blackshear will probably be out next week
I’m just not sold on our secondary so far. Gotta see more confidence.
Tight Ends. Who’da thought? Oh yeah, most everyone.
TD DAAAAAWWWWWWGS!
Good grief! They're killing me over here! 😁
28-14 Good guys and I need some Rolaids!
GO DAWGS!
Happy with the touchdown, of course, but disappointed that we can't seem to just line up and run the ball in from the 1- or 2-yard line. And we needed a lucky bounce to even get down in the red zone. Now we need our defense to wake up.
That drive was a td, but more luck and help, then just taking it. You won't get that from teams like bama, Florida, or even Ole miss. And they need it from vandy?
Except bobo and Stockton
Um getting a little desperate going all out bashing on Dawgs fans ain’t ya ? Yeah Curtis Screwed Kirby and the Dawgs. And Vandy Cheated our Seniors out of their Home Coming by canceling at the last minute. I know the Dawgs aren’t performing that well. But Hey cut the FANS a little slack ! And Frazier can in a Played. So far no Curtis for Vandy.
Great to see them go to Williams in the end zone! He is a weapon!
I would go the the TEs each play with the coverage mismatches that are there. A DE/LB can’t cover these TEs and I would keep going to them. Can the defense please awaken?! This is pitiful
