Looking at this as a whole, yes, I have been concerned about our defense in this game and the inability to get off the field however, vanderbilt scored twice, and not since the second quarter.
I am annoyed with a host of things that went on during this game and I honestly hate “bend but don’t break”. I only want to crush the opponent. But even with all the missed tackles and coverage issues, our Dawgs held them to 14.
I’ll take that and get over my distaste in specific instances and look forward to the next game.

My stomach is a wreck. Bama annihilated MState. Georgia will need a whole lot of fixin'. Maybe they will play UP to Bama. GO DAWGS!!!
OK so about as well forfeit to Bama and UF ? Have you seen the Scores we won by ? ALL teams can and do have Off days on either defense or offense or sometimes both. I’d Much rather get the “bad ball” out of their system Today than vs Bama or UF. This is a very good Dawgs team. NO I can’t promise you wins against those teams. But you can’t realistically chalk up a loss either. It’s called having Faith in your team. I’m not gonna waste my time watching a team I don’t believe in. If You and Dallas Enjoy worrying yourselves sick over something you have no real control over. By all means go ahead. It seems Some people actually enjoy being miserable. I’ve got enough serious medical issues to keep me miserable. So No I’m gonna Enjoy the Dawgs as long as I have Life to do so !! Go Dawgs !!
No one is saying what you think we're saying. Being "critical" of a team or a player or a situation is NOT THE SAME as criticizing them. We all (or most of us) are pulling for the Dawgs. We Dawg fans want to win EVERY game we play. And yes, you are correct. I did attend, graduated from and still support the University of Georgia financially and in other ways. But that doesn't mean that I can't point out areas where I think the Dawgs can improve. That's all. And for me, you'll never hear me commenting before a game about what we're going to do our opponent or how we'll beat them or how we don't need to play certain players to win. But the Dawgs came out on top today so I'm done with this conversation. You be well, and Go Dawgs!
Technically I never said they would lose those games. I just said those offenses could have field days against that defense by the way it was playing today.
I'm like @87dawg , I totally dislike bend but don't break defense. If this is the worse the defense plays all year, I am completely fine with that. In the 1st half that is. 2nd half they played better. They only gave up 59 yards in the 2nd half and ZERO points.
