Earnest, we’re with you. A lot of us in DawgNation have bitter memories of that game. So while you’re on the field knocking Bama defensive players to the ground, maybe you can flatten one of them for us as well! Have fun and kick a s s Saturday night in Tuscaloosa! Go Dawgs!!
Mr. Greene—I hope your will to win and enthusiasm carries over to ALL the BIG UGLIES! GO DAWGS
“I wouldn’t go to war with anyone else in America, I truly believe that,” Greene said. “The way he prepares day in and day out for games like this, I’m just happy I get to block for a guy like that.”
This is exactly what you want to hear from a guy like Greene during the week before a game like this. They should want this for themselves and each other, to go in and get a victory that they have worked so hard for. They don't owe me a thing, and they don't owe the media anything either. They owe it to themselves and each other, and I hope they pay it off in a big way Saturday night! It won't be the final chapter or the defining moment, but a huge step toward what they have been preparing their whole life to accomplish. This team is made up of guys like Greene who have what it takes to play championship level football; they just have to go out and leave it all on the field and know that their best is more than good enough.
GO DAWGS!
Bama is better than everyone else. This is your hardest game. Good that the O line has so many snaps, but they need to play very well to beat this level of competition. Discipline and effort will make the day. Games are won at the line.
Of course we hope to go through the game without a sack and that will require a great OL effort and a little luck. Should it occur we can hope it is not in a critical situation. A win by the Dawgs will require all of the guys to get this GATA mentality for 4 qtrs
Bravo Earnest Greene !! Proud Of and For you !! I Believe big Earnest will be going after the Bama defenders in earnest Sat. night !! I Believe he will spark the rest of the O Line to dominate the LOS !! Go Dawgs !! Sic ‘Em !!
Agreed that they are good……but they also have not played us yet! We are definitely going to be their hardest game as well! Our O-line has the experience needed !
We will see, but I really like our chances!
Go Dawgs!
D Phillips is Zacharia Branch. Hope our staff recognizes that right now. He could transform the game for us.
@jdatl3 Hmmm, he's good, but a record-breaking pass catcher?
Mike - I agree, it's mostly potential, but I'm telling you, there's something there. I would keep feeding him out in space. I have a feeling there's a lot more in the well.
Bama would not have broken the home win streak if not for a boneheaded play called by Kirby or bobo. Kick the field goal and win it or at least have a chance to win in OT. Giving Cash the ball on 4th down and him being the slowest back had to be the worst call ever.
true but he doesn’t play defensive back and that’s the big problem not scoring points but stopping their receivers
I agree with you to a large extent. Dwight Peanut Phillips Is electric when the ball is in his hands and there’s a smidge of open green in front of him. I see him more along the lines of James Cook. Faster than Cook but not quite as strong………Yet. He’s gonna get stronger and stronger every game played if he can avoid that word that starts with an I and ends with a y. Please none of that !! My Hope is the Dawgs Offense will continue even better what they started vs. Vandy. And that the Dawgs Defense learned valuable lessons and are getting the errors cleaned up.
Vandy was their first taste at all of some adversity. And as Kirby said they Needed it and he didn’t say this part but it came at the perfect time. Bama is a very, very good team. But they bleed to. Maybe Ms. St. was only a paper tiger. But win or lose I sense our Dawgs will leave it All on the field. And that’s all I’ve ever really asked of them. I Believe if they play Up to their potential they will win !! Go Dawgs !!
Amen Brother !! Fully Agree !! They haven’t played our Dawgs yet !! I’m Believing in our Dawgs and obviously You and thousands x thousands of Dawgs fans are to !! Vegas is just a bunch of talking heads passing $$ around Hoping they made the right pick. Trust your own instincts !! Go Dawgs !!
No excuses….just beat um, Saben is there…we are the better team
