Georgia's 20-17 win at Alabama should lift the Bulldogs into the No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25 for the first time since the second week of the 2024 season.

But Georgia hasn’t played anyone yet(Nick Saban).. you are right even after last night dismantling of bama.. we still have played anyone😝😂 Go dawgs
I’m still in somewhat a state of shock after the no call in the end zone on KJ. I told my wife they’re going to throw a flag there. I’m still confused as to whether they actually did or the graphics crew put it up on the tv screen inadvertently. Does anyone know?
Oh well. We’ve been hosed on numerous occasions in games against Bama as well as many other teams. This time, the other shoe dropped.
Man, these Dawgs, every one of them, have bought into the culture Kirby has built. I just don’t think there is another team in the country that plays with the “refuse to lose” mentality these guys play with! These guys are true “Junkyard Dawgs!” Will this be our third Natty this decade? No doubt in my mind these guys have what it takes. They just seem to be dialed in!
Let’s take care of business on Dooley Field next week against Auburn and go into a well deserved bye week. Hopefully, get guys healed up and get ready for a strong finish.
Man, I felt so bad for Frazier last night. I absolutely cannot wait to see him back on the field with the ball in his hands. I believe he is going to be like a runaway train!
Great win last night Dawgs! DawgNation is proud of all of you! Go Dawgs!!
I am not going to say it yet, but we have a chance to win it all this year like in 2021. It seems the team is getting better each week and next man up is doing their job as the receivers and running backs proved last night. If Gunner can zip those passes into tight coverage and not make Arch-like mistakes we have a chance! Stay healthy and stay hungry with the bullseye on your backs now!
Alabama @ #4 seems too high
Moving Bama up after losing at home?
I think I might have Missouri higher than 12th. Watched a couple of their games, they have a solid team this year. Pretty sure they'd give UCLA, TT, or even overrated texas a run for their money.
Nice rankings, Mike. I would put Missouri at 10. They look strong. Still not sure how good Texas really is. Manning is very over-hyped imo. He hurt his team badly in the Red River Rivalry with very poor throws at key moments. He was out performed by Mateer. Hard to imagine much less believe. While I’m thinking Ohio State may be the best team in the country, I agree where you rank them in light of their blowing the Texas game in unexplainable fashion.
Is Notre Dame the third best team in the nation? Probably not, but with their amazingly weak schedule they will continue to be highly ranked all season. Might actually get to #1 when you consider the difficult schedules others must navigate. Miami also has an easy schedule. ND and Miami will most likely go undefeated. Unlikely our Dawgs go unscathed with the schedule strength we are facing. We better be ready for Auburn thus week.
@E_Roc I had Alabama No. 2 on my ballot last week
@JBMDawg46 That Missouri loss at Mississippi State (ranked behind them) still holds the TIgers down a bit in the transitive properties world… we will find out more about Mizzou this week at Ole Miss…. Texas still owns the "best" win of the season, coming from 20 down in fourth quarter against then-No. 1 Ohio State, that carries. Oklahoma is not a bad team, and if not for a close loss at Michigan would be Top 15.
@SufferinginAtlanta In light of the Tide's decisive wins — two on the road against ranked SEC teams — and its abilty to hang with No. 1 Georgia, I felt a case could be made it's a proven team. We'll see this week against Tennessee.
