Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs notched a tough 20-17 SEC win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa Saturday night. It was the kind of game kids dream about playing in. Is the Georgia-Alabama series a real rivalry now? Click below to check out my latest Junkyard Blawg.

A quick turnaround between games, and it doesn't faze Kirby. Business as usual for the DAWGS, and I've seen more than 1 SEC coach, and AD complain and whine about the same situation.
“LSU blows out McNeese state, gets upset at Kentucky the next week.”
I… really… REALLY… hope that wasn’t an emotional win for the swamp cats…
We lost a National Championship because of blatantly bad calls...and last night Bama held on every other play. How many missed PI calls, phantom calls (he was not offsides), etc ad nauseum has Georgia suffered when playing Bama? Typical.
I have no doubt I saw the two best teams in the SEC last night. So sweet that we end up on the winning side with a missed call, that usually happens for Bama in this series. I thought there were no tears greater than gator tears but I was wrong, pachyderm tears are the bestest, go Dawgs!
Bama’s O-line was holding all night - Kirby wigged out over it a couple of times.
So obviously true. The most blatant non-call of the night wasn’t the no-call PI, it was the refusal to call Bama’s 55 holding in the open on the Bama TD pass. At that moment, I thought there’s no way we win this game if the refs aren’t going to call Bama for holding that is that obvious and easy to see. No way they didn’t see it. Anybody watching saw it.
