Georgia is the only SEC team that remains unbeaten through six games this season.

Dawgs can't rest on their laurels and Kirby knows this. " Humility is just one week away".
Auburn had an off-week and will be looking to upset the Dawgs. Gotta stay focused, grab some rest, review some film, and re-charge for this Saturday. Let's use the Bama game as a step forward, not a stopping point. Dawgs need to use the gritty, hard-fought battle as a foundation for what's next. There's still lots of football to play against good competition.
Let's keep that Stock UP and n9t go sideways or step backwards.
This is a very complete team, and as long as injuries stay manageable, can do something special. We all know how there is so much more than talent that goes into that, but this team has talent, heart, and an esprit de corps that is not seen often these days in college football.
Need to focus on Aubarn as we all know they approach this game as their super bowl each year and regardless of how good or bad they are, they always give UGA a tough game. Lets GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stock Up - Gunner - not a five star, but leads the country in QBR.
Stock Down - Raiola, Curtis, Manning. All had the chance to learn under Georgia coaches that produced NFL talent, but chose to take the extra million and wreck their career. But, Curtis hasn't yet. Three games into his start, and he's hurt. Just wait, it will be the same thing. Why put 10's of millions at risk for 1 million - ****. You want to be the best, you go where they are the best.
D Phillips is the real deal. More in the tank with that one.
"The hype surrounding Gators coach Jon Sumrall has cooled considerably after a 45-17 drubbing at Missouri on Oct. 3 and a shocking 38-19 home loss to South Carolina program that was fading."
It didn't stop with Sumrall, they were even hyping Buster Faulkner as the next Nick Saben (or the next Knute Rockne for the highbrow Northeasterners)! Okay, that might be a slightly exaggerated to emphasize my point, but the hype for "Flarda" appears to be more than slightly exaggerated.
Still some tough games to be played. Auburn game is always interesting. Florida travels to Texas before UGA game. Then there's Ole Miss away and Missouri at home.
"The Tigers game at Ole Miss has College Football Playoff field implications for both programs"
Yes in Oxford and Missouri seems to struggle on the road.
Was it just me or did anyone else look at some of those handoffs to Peanut and think the defense was going to stuff him at the line of scrimmage only to see him pop through for a huge gain? All that kid needs is a small seam!
I watched some of the Missouri -Fla game and I thought Missour;s defense was the best defense I've seen play this year. THey completely shut down Fla's run game.
He was a step or two away from breaking several long runs. He is fun to watch carrying the football! He gives 100% on every carry, whether its 25 yard gain or a 2 yard run.
The O Line played very well. They are getting better every game. I wish I could say the same for the secondary.
Peanut is dynamic…you can say it …Mike…give this UGA phenom the nod when it deserves it, please.
I feel good about this team's mindset… call it professionalism, maybe maturity… but the embedded team culture with seasoned team leaders in the locker room (and of course Kirby/Bobo/Schumann setting the tone) leads me to think they'll stay intensely disciplined. That doesn't mean they won't lose any games, but I have a feeling they won't lose their focus. Go Dawgs!
This has TRAP GAME written all over it! No way this will be an 18 pt spread with Auburn having two weeks to prepare. Thank goodness it is at home!!
Hard to argue that Missouri doesn't have a very good defense (and a very good team, period). However, did you watch South Carolina destroy Florida in a game which wasn't as close as the scoreboard indicated? Does South Carolina have a defense equal to the Missouri defense? The common denominator is Florida. Now, in my opinion, Florida is pretty talented, but they're also inconsistent. Does that mean they could bounce back and beat Texas?
Good article, @MikeGriffith.
Go, Dawgs!
Yes, Florida can beat Texas if they're "on" and Texas ain't (plus maybe a break or two on calls, injuries, the way the ball bounces, etc.). In fact, I believe all but maybe a couple of teams in the SEC can beat any other team in the SEC… or in the country… on a special Saturday for them. I truly believe there's that much talent and parity in the SEC. Hence my adamancy about the SEC being better than the B10, because I don't think you can say the same thing about the B10. All the more reason why every single week is a big week for our boys from here on out. Go Dawgs!
