Georgia coach Kirby Smart isn't taking any time to celebrate of even acknowledge his team's No. 1 ranking after beating Alabama 20-17 on Saturday.

So glad this game is being played in Athens! With the emotional win over Bama - this game would smell like a trap game if it were to be played at Auburn. I think the dawg home crowd will keep the team aggressive and Auburn will just be another statistic in the Georgia WIN column. GO DAWGS!
with the facial recognition software available today, Alabama needs to identify that fan that put his hands on Raylen Wilson and ban him from their campus!
We all hope Frazier and Bowens are back soon. If not, the RB group could use some help. CKS should ask the team who wants to play talilback, and see who puts their hand up. Give them some reps in practice and see what happens. Never know, might be another Dillon Bell in the group.
Don't disagree……if Reddell is not hurt, then he would be my choice. Clearly Bowers-like in his size, power and speed. And he doesn't have to run everytime he is put back there (so as not to tip the play), they could use him as lead blocker like a fullback. Heck, the talking heads made a big deal about DeBoar's "twist" in running the "I" formation ….. why not us!?
If Phillps and Bo are not hurt, we shoud be in good shape with them and Peal and hopefully, some reps from Frazier. Really not worried with Gunner and Coach Bobo running this thing through our tight ends and WRs!!!
Go Dawgs!
Better be ready for Auburn. They also have players on scholarship being paid bug bucks. Plus, they’re rested. Oh, they hate Georgia. Plus they wrongly believe they got shafted bu the refs last year. This one is circled on their schedule. Won’t be easy.
Any person who records and/or shares locker room recordings without Kirby's permission should be suspended indefinitely, if not released. Full stop. Go Dawgs!
Just my opinion but why is Talin Taylor not in there taking the top off defenses as often as possible? He has proven himself, lets us him. Please?!?
Speaking of Dillon Bell, his brother, Micah Bell, is a running back for the Dawgs along with two freshman - Jae Lamar and Peal. We’ll find out how good the depth is at RB on Saturday.
First, great win Saturday. Second, provided no one else gets hurt during the week, we have enough tailbacks, even if Frazier and/or Bowens don't play (and I certainly hope at least one of them will). But we played Phillips, Walker and Peal Saturday night. And remember, we still have Jae Lamar who could take a snap or two if necessary. But I honestly expect Frazier to play, though he may not start. Third, two underemphasized (to me) points from the Alabama game: the first I'll mention came after the game when Keelon Russell showed GREAT sportsmanship in patiently waiting on Gunner Stockton to complete his TV interview so he could congratulate him. I give Russell a bunch of credit for that. My other point is on the controversial non-PI call, what galls me most about that play is that if Bolden had simply played the ball (as he should have) instead of the receiver, he likely would have had a fairly easy interception — and thus no controversy. The ball landed closer to him than anybody but he was so focused on hitting the receiver, he never looked for the ball. Ugh. And my final comment is actually a question. Did I misread it, or did Kirby Smart take a kind of oh-so-subtle dig at Curt Cignetti? He basically is saying, "Curt did a great job in getting the right transfer QB and others, but let's see if he (or anyone) can do that same thing in the SEC." He did it nicely and respectfully, but I definitely think it was a dig. Go Dawgs!
Agree with what you say. May not be wise to expect Phillips to carry a big load every week. He ran out of gas in the 4thQ vs AL. Interesting that 2*-3* Peal is playing over 4* Lamar. Neither Lamar or CJ Wiley seem to be able to crack the rotation at depleted positions.
Reddell landed awkwardly on his neck/head on his 1st catch vs AL. Didn't look good. Glad to see him back in that game. Needs to learn how to protect the ball with 1 hand and use the other for stiff arms and breaking his fall on tackles.
