ATHENS — Humility finally caught up to Georgia.

No FPE from Kirby. No FPE from team. This was about effort and discipline and we displayed neither. Got exactly what we deserved.
All I read all week that everyone here said 35-12 and 38-0 and I tried to say this was a perfect trap game and got downvoted. Walt Disney is not walking through that door….
That team was not ready to play. I think Gunner got his bell rung and it stayed with him. Frazier needed to wait for UF to play again. Does Schumann coach these Freshman players how to tackle, wrap-up a runner?
Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss… why can’t Kirby find these dual threat QBs. Gunner is an average QB but he’s not the type to take you to the top. Georgia should beat a team like Auburn but the play calling was terrible and the defense couldn’t stop anything when it mattered. Hey they talking about giving Kirby a raise so there you go.
UGA played like a team badly in need of rest. I think UF is in for a beating.
Boys wuz worn-out from the get go
Georgia's instant observation is that they ****
Kirby says we gotta stop the run and run the ball. We couldn't do either well today. Auburn 192 yards of rushing, Dawgs 113 yards. Former USF QB Brown is a beast and a one-man show along with the (2) WR transfers also from USF - Singletary and Nimrod. So, Dawgs got beat mostly by a USF coach and re-built squad.
Too many turnovers, mistakes, critical penalties, and just inept play on both sides ofvthe ball for over 2 quarters. Call it a letdown, guys too tired, whatever....I don't buy it completsly. All the SEC teams are beat up and have injuries. We are only at game 7. We got a long way to go. In my opinion, we just didn't play well at all other than a few moments. Kudos to the Tigers. Glad we have a BYE week.
Totally agree about Gunner. The bad part is that no one on the UGA sideline had the courage to take him out at halftime. The team was beat up, but Stockton should not have been in there.
Team was beat up and emotionally drained from last week. Obviously a let down. Defense never looked sharp. Gunner took a shot on that first run play (the play selection here was questionable and on a number of plays). Gunner never really recovered. But he and UGA did come back and had a chance at the end. Just wasn't to be.
initial observation: Kirby made excuses all week because he couldn’t adequately prepare his team to beat a mediocre opponent at home. Hot garbage on both sides of the ball.
A god-awful performance - and history made - in too many ways to count. This game has outlier written all over it. Auburn coming off the bye, Georgia coming off the complete opposite of a bye, and it showed. Bama lost badly to Tennessee. Looks like both teams were pretty well depleted after that one.
As frustrating and embarrassing as this is, they can probably lose two more and still make the postseason. This is one step closer to avoiding the playoff bye.
Obviously, Stockton played poorly. And Frazier was not 100 percent. Yes, Bolden was missing. Yet, we STILL had the ball near midfield with about a minute to go in a tie game, with a strong field goal kicker. The fumble was a killer, but so was Gabe Harris' penalty. Just uncalled for. The Auburn field goal at the end was veering right. Had that kid been 15 yards back, there's a good chance he misses it.
We turned it over four to times... last week we turned it over three times but we got them all back
In spite of poor play by Ga on both sides I envisioned our last effort would lead to a 45 yard FG and a win. I can't say we weren't prepared but this was not the effort that you would expect from a team that just got crowned as nr 1. they rtan through us like we forgot basic tackling fundamentals. Love you guys but letting an unranked Auburn team beat you on your own turf should burn a hole in your memory for a long time.
That's why we're #4 and not #6.
