ATHENS — For his standard, Gunner Stockton had a historically bad game.

If Kirby knew they had a good run defense, why didn't Georgia throw the ball more? Also, why continue to throw the ball down the sideline when you haven't had much success doing it? It's a long, wasted play. Georgia has had more success in the gaps and seams of a defense.
Bad day for Gunner. Bad day for the Dawgs defense. Bad that the FG attempt got blocked. Just a stink, stank, stunk game. All our Dawgs can do now is come back and redeem themselves by winning out the rest of the season.
Outplayed , out coached and out classed . One of the worst games in Georgia history . Number 1 against an unranked 20 point dog . Embarrassed the great Nick Chubb had to watch that pathetic effort .
It was a wake-up call
A wake up call for what? You're #1 and trying to win a National Championship. You can't outclass a 3-2 Auburn team missing their best player? UGA cruised to 14-0 lead and then mailed it in. Kirby, Bobo, Gunner and the entire putrid mess literally gave Auburn the game. On a silver platter. Gunner's last fumble wasn't caused by Auburn, he ran into Bobo's back. UGA beat themselves. The secondary, supposed to be a strength, is awful. Tackling was awful. O line blocking was awful. Earnest Green looked slow and out of shape on the edge. He was abused. The D was gassed because the O couldn't sustain a drive. Worst loss since overtime to SC back early in Kirby's tenure. If you need a wake up call to play in the SEC, you have no business playing there. Go to the Sunbelt. Leave it to Georgia to squander a great Bama win.
$13 million excuses. One of the worst call offense games.. give Bobo another extension and raise.
totally agree. Seems like when Kirby got those 2 nattys he was just happy to play in the SECCG which by the way Georgia backed into because of other teams lost out. The excuses he came up with has me shaking my head. He doesn’t seem to have that fire anymore.
Win or lose always a dawg fan. I just wonder why other teams can throw across the middle for big gains and we can’t. Use the TE more. Tomorrow is a new day but if Kirby doesn’t get those bunch going Florida, Ole Miss and Mizz will have a field day. Not to mention SC.
What a load of bs....ALL OF IT.
YOURE NO DAWG FAN....JUST A RIDICULOUS, INSANE BUNCH OF.....
There is no excuse for an experience QB to play that game. I don't care how the rest of the team played. Auburn gave him an opportunity and he just gave it back. You are not winning anything without superior play from the QB. I think I am being more than fair. UGA may lose a game because a team is better, but your QB cannot beat you. I was beginning to believe, but then he reminded me he did the same thing last year against Ole Miss. Kirby may be content with him but to me he is Aaron Murray and Jake Fromm all over again. They may get you close but you cannot win with them. I doubt Stockton will prove me wrong.
So did Gunner forget he was on the FG unit and just run off the field? Why did he run off?
