UGA should have dropped more after the embarrassing loss yesterday. Piss poor effort.
Didn't like being #1. We're in a good spot, now. BUT Kirby and his staff have a lot of work to do before Florida. Auburn showed our weaknesses—for players and coaches. We never should have let Boomer go; maybe Buster, he's got Florida offense humming, again.
AP writers' regional biases are notorious. Anything to play down the south.
Honestly, I think the loss was probably the best thing that could've happened. I'm glad we didn't "squeak out" a win because we really did play that poorly and needed a "wake up call". #4/#5 is exactly where we should be and where we do best. The players will get mad and focused and rested and that'll take us strong through the rest of the regular season.
One can hope that you're right.
