It would probably have been overly optimistic to think the Dawgs would have been able to run the regular season schedule and potential SECCG undefeated, but I did not see this Auburn loss coming, especially at home. 1st loss in 7 years against an unranked team. WOW. I guess it was bound to happen especially considering how we played.
Let's see how the guys bounce back and who steps forward as our vocal leader. I really haven't seen the kind of Nolan Smith outspoken leadership ability in many years for the Dawgs. Maybe that's what we need going forward to get everyone back on track and re-focused. Harder to do that with re-shuffled rosyers every year. Who's our Alpha Dawg??
It's been disappointing to not see Gabe Harris step up like we hoped for 2026. As was the case late last season, he will be a key player, especially vs Ole Miss. His leadership will be important.
I apologize for being a little off topic here, but Auburn did a good job disrupting Gunner's passing lanes, not to mention Drew Bobo as well, unfortunately. Was this something anyone else noticed, or was it just a matter of the OL being pushed around? The batted ball on the first play of the Dawgs last drive was particularly frustrating as they had it set up pretty well to Dwight if the pass is complete.
why is Gabe Harris wearing a clown helmet?
