ATHENS — Those who dared blink last week might have missed a lot, and the same could hold true with another enticing slate of SEC games.

Some good, and hard impossible to call, games.
Go, Dawgs!
If Trinidad brings it, TX’s season will be over. Too bad Simmons will be out. Could be the difference.
MG Overall: 42-14 straight-up: 28-28 vs. spread
Bout' sums it up, Vegas always wins
And LSU throttles Auburn!
They would have played like this last week if they hadn’t had two weeks to get ready. The sec needs to stop giving in to cry baby auburn.
we’d be on easy street if we had taken care of business with Auburn. Now we can’t afford to lose but one game to 3 good teams.
My aunt would be my uncle if….
It was the difference, imo....but, you won't see that reflected in the Polls at the end of the year. Committees and Voters have short term memory loss issues. Especially, with the likes of Texas & Bama. Those Teams belong to ESPN.
@JimmiesNJoes It's tough to beat the spread, for sure! The trick is knowing which games to select for those who actually try to make a profit.
Lol....UGA owns "Easy Street" this year. They COULD actually lie 2 more games and still qualify for the CFP....the way things are going. Everybody in the SEC is killing each other.
That said.…..imo....Georgia won't come close to losing another game, from here on out. It only takes ONE in Kirby's Program. The "Fire" has been ignited.
Go get em boys....show em who you are!
Lol....a buddy of mine, is a poker player....and just started dabbling in CFB & NFL gambling. He keeps asking me...."How the hell do they know"....cause, every game he bets seems to be right around the spread. I told him, "They know....cause, they own the game, now.".
Simple as that. Control a couple of players, refs (booth, field and Conf.), Coaches, Talkin' Heads, etc.....you can control momentum and outcomes. I'm not sure that's NOT hapoening....because....nobody is interested enough to investigate, monitor & report. Probably wouldn't like be very long if they did. Lol
In other words....There's NOBODY minding the store. We're on the Honor System these days. And, that bothers me....cause, if anything has proven true…"Honor" is not a universally embraced value anymore. Lol....if a money making operation, such as the Five Families of NY can exist and operate with impunity....why not a Global Family or Sports Betting Syndicate?.
How many Games did the Mob buy back in the day. You think they stopped....just because the law said, don't do it. Lol...Hell....even Henry Hill was convicted of fixing basketball games at BC.…if I'm not mstaken. And, there have been recent convictions. You can't tell me, that they aren't fixing games...right now. Not without proof.
The great thing is....Kirby built his team to beat all of em. They will overcome any (most) attempt to control momentum and outcomes of any UGA Game. They have to make their attempts so obvious...they stand out. We KNOW when the fix is on.....don't we. Lol
Are you asking someone to prove a negative?
Yes by god. Prove no corruption exists by at least doing a deep dive. Use undercover ops to take an honest look under the hood. We do that all the time with many other American Institutions & Agencies....or supposed to be. But, in a lot of cases....the people that are supposed to be doing the looking and tending, are crooked as well.
CFB & NFL needs an Internal Affairs Division. An internal police force that reports to the Department of Justice. Especially, now that they're playing games overseas and in South America.
Like I said....Nobody is tending the till. There's a thousand ways to cheat a game that relies on the honor system. Just sayin'.
I can imagine the television show, maybe a Netflix series.
Law and Order College Football Internal Affairs.
In reality, it would be sponsored by Disney and shown on ABC.
"Yes, fine incoming because the NFL has a strict policy that says public criticism by players or club employees of game officials or officiating is prohibited and may result in a fine and/or suspension."____FOXNEWS
Man....things have gotten so bad in the NFL....Players are starting to disregard the above "NFL Policy".
Lolol....must be nice. To have a built-in system....for suppressing truth and facilitating cheats. It don't get no better than THAT!....For a crook. Lol
While defending Devonte Wyatt regarding a horseshit unnecessary roughness call....Green Bay's Xavier McKinney blasted the referees for nonsensical calls and BS decisions in a 1 minute locker room rant Sunday.
"Bad officiating" (tic) across the board....for only one of the two teams on the field....happens every week now. I think, maybe, we're watching a Netflix series right now....called "NFL Season". Lol....and CFB is probably the business model blueprint....cause, they've been doing it a lot longer.
When those NFL guys start disregarding possible Fines & Suspensions.…to tell it like it is.....Look out! Things have to be twice as bad as I thought they were. They'll get far more attention if they organize and do it at once. You'll know who's benefiting from the current crooked system, by the ones that think "it's on the up & up".
Obviously....like the NCAA....the NFLPA is part of the NFL's con. Give em the illusion of a voice....until it conflicts with the script. Lol.…it's common sense....imo. If it looks like a duck....quacks like a duck....and walks like a duck....must be a duck.
Why are National Media members so afraid to call out the obvious....with vigor? Are they part of it? Are they afraid of losing access...and their job? Is it too big to fix? Has Football Season become a television...and, now...streaming Show?....like the Housewives of Atlanta...or Kate Plus Eight. Lol
I'm like you though....out-play the cheating. The only way they can " steal a Win"......is if you allow the game to be close. A one or two score lead, going into the 4th quarter....is not safe. It only takes a couple of crooked calls to flip momentum or stop a drive. Lol....that's not as hard to do as you would think.
When they start doing it in booth reviews....you know they aren't worried about repercussions. The people that do the hiring and firing are in full support....because they benefit.
