It’s easy to see Florida offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner as a rival of the Georgia program.

"His stint with Georgia Tech was so impressive that new Florida coach Jon Sumrall tabbed him to be his offensive coordinator."
I have a feeling Buster is going to do an impressive job at "Flarda" as well. If that is the case, he could be on the radar very soon for a Head Coach position. Those spots are likely to start opening up in the next few weeks, and there may be a team out there willing to give a guy like him a shot. Who knows, he could be the solution to that dumpster fire they have up in Boulder! Just sayin………..
Faulkner is a future Head coach in waiting mode until the offer is extended..GoDAWGS!
I'd both love & hate to see him at Clemson. Love it for him. Hate it for us. If I were Clemson's A.D., that's who I'd go to. Could probably get Faulkner for relatively cheap (relative to big name coaches) to help offset Dabo's big buyout. Faulkner can recruit in the SE footprint, great offensive mind . . . all the things.
UGACC—Yeah, he could replace Dabo, but that would mean the poor fool would have to live in Clemson, SC—and who wants todo that?
More speculation…..Buster needs a stint as OC at UGA…..Maybe Mike retires/steps back to become an analyst so he can follow Drew in the NFL, Buster becomes the Dawgs highest paid OC, couple of years learning from The Master combined with much success and he'll be "ripe" for a BIG TIME HC GIG….ie, SEC school
Nothing against Todd Monken, but he definitely had several very good assistants working beside him during those great years. Faulkner and Bobo were both key to Monken’s success. Go Dawgs and beat the lizards🦎!!!
I said this exact thing on another media platform. I sincerely believe that Faulkner wants to be a head coach at an SEC school, but he would accept Clemson or Florida State in the ACC. I predicted Clemson because I think the school and Dabo are sort of tired of each other at this point. And I think Norvell at Florida State (much like Beamer at South Carolina) will do just enough this year to keep him around at least another year. I don't think any SEC jobs will open this year anywhere, so if none of those open, Buster will be back with the Gators at least one more year.
