Jaden Baugh has been shut down completely (along with the rest of the Flarda offense). I’m ready to see them shut down these dynamic QBs that give them so much trouble also. I know they can do it, and I have a feeling we will see it happen starting next week I Oxford! But first, shut out the Gators!
GO DAWGS!
HBTFD!! Keep the heat on and the pedal to the metal!
Lol….did it occur to you…or the great Herbstreit….that Gunner wasn't looking downfield.
Because the idea is first downs not points….when you are working the other team's Defense.
There are all kinds of ways to WIN football games. And, Championships (see the Auburn loss)….more can be accomp!ished from a close loss like the one against Auburn, by a team like Georgia (or Alabama under Saban)…..than a win against…say…GaSo or Ga Tech.
Lol….just sayin'….UGA rarely disappoints…but, some on here seem to be your basic uncontrollable "hand-wringers….no matter what the Dawgs do. They're just gonna be nervous till the end.
Can't be helped i guess. i haven't been able to a thing to help my Beother with that problem. The rest of us just need to be supportive & live with it…God Bless em. Lolol
Nailed it navydawg. The vast majority of these comments are negative these days, some pathologically so. If watching the Dawgs makes one that miserable, perhaps consider not watching. This is a bad or worse than than the RBR board. Utter and complete misery unless up by 3 scores and playing perfect game. For those of us that have followed these Dawgs for decades, we remember the old days, and we see we now have a a superior team in the hunt every year. Seems not good enough for some folks unless undefeated and a National Championship..every year. Snide comments about about QB GS, who is one of the best in CFB right now and is willing to put his body on the line week after week. Fire Bobo, defense stinks, wait offense stinks. Run the dang ball, wait why do we always run/run, pass, and on and on. We all have the choice to invest ourselves in this silly game and "support" the team, and we have the choice not to. If the team is a source of negativity and misery maybe just not watch? Perhaps some folks actually enjoy wallowing in negativity?
@BigDawg61…our defense is the reason we are up 24. Other than (1) 80- yard drive, our offense has struggled, intercepted balls and done little with them, and Gunner looks very hesitant. He is still thinking about last week?
Yes, our offense has missed some opportunities, but I’ll take this score everyday and twice on Sunday.
another muffled punt by Helton
What dirt does Sacovie have on Smart that lets him keep fielding punts?!
Good grief! Get him out of there!
They may need to find someone else to do that
Different QB, same sad results! Faulkner better find something quick because this Dawgs defense is terrorizing them!
Two bad play calling. Kirby you need to assist Bobo.
@David1…Obviously, I will too , but execution DOES definitely matter, especially considering how we played against Auburn and we had an OFF week.
The teams playing their best at the end of the season will probably win the Natty…
And again, anotber drive that goes nowhere for the Dawgs…
Backwards on that drive. Tiring out the gators defense was just wishful thinking. The Dawgs had 6 more minutes of t.o.p. and 9 more plays at halftime. The way kirby coaches, that is going to flip real soon. The gators will score 20 probably, the offense really needs to score more.
Lolol….i don't hear any of you talking like that, when the defense lays an egg. Is it because you don't know why or who to blame? That's funny to me. The offense doesn't go…must be the quuaeterback or play calling.
Okay….we'll do a tally at the ens of the game. See what worked and why. What didn't….and why not. The offense is doung it's job…and so is the defense. Why is that surprising? Lol
There's another. Don't you think Kirby saw those opportunities on film. They've got Florida's number.
