Incoming freshmen should get less than any player already on a roster. They haven’t done anything to earn that kind of money playing against a bunch of mediocre high school athletes. If this NIL and portal junk hadn’t come around when it did, Kirby was about to go on a saban run where he would have won multiple national championships.

The 24 team CFP will cause many high draft picks to sit out the CFP games. How can you blame them?

Play 4 or 5 more games against the best of the best. The injury rate says that there will be 128–160 injuries that will cause a player to miss at least one game coming out of the CFPs.

That may represent millions in lost income for that group of injured.
