ATHENS — For all the winning Georgia has done under Kirby Smart, he still deeply appreciates beating the rival Florida Gators.

"Three different cornerbacks came up with interceptions on Saturday. Demello Jones nearly had another, only for it to be wiped off by a roughing the passer penalty"
If this team is establishing itself as an elite interception threat in the mind of the opposing QB, it could cause some indecision and buy another second for the pass rush to develop. Having three interceptions in one game against a ranked opponent could go a long way in making that happen. Anything they can do to give themselves an advantage over the likes of Trinidad Chambliss and Lanorris Sellars will be very valuable going forward. I love watching this defense play when they are swarming the ball and pressuring the QB. They will need to be at their best on Saturday night!
GO DAWGS!
The Barnes penalty was upsetting. I kind of get it, but honestly, if they have their hands up, they aren't interfering.
Georgia's hardest test in the next three games. Two by mobile QB's with great arms. Can't just let him run through you.
It’s hard for our DB to turn his head around when the receiver is interfering with and holding onto the DB. It should have been offensive pass interference.
I would like to address the roughing penalty on Valdin Sone against the FL QB. This was a very poor call by the ref. Sone clearly eased up after hitting the QB appropriately. He was met by Kirby after the call. I hope that Kirby was telling him he had done exactly what he should have done. If not, relook at the film, Kirby, and apologize.
Im old school and don’t like the recent changes to college football but I hope I live to see the day when the human element of officiating is taken away .
We actually had 4 interceptions but unfortunately, one was erased on that BS roughing the passer call.
