ATHENS — It certainly seems like Ole Miss won’t have one of its most important players in running back Kewan Lacy.

Going up against the best QB in the SEC we will need every cog in the defensive wheel available and dialed in. What Chambliss and his elusiveness did to us on the CFPs last year was downright ridiculous, lock in Gabe!
This is one of CR's better articles in a long time, IMHO. Many of these facts about the Ole Miss team were new to me (including the apparent confirmation Lacy is out)… gives me a bit more fact-driven confidence for Saturday 😁
The Rebels still had over 200 yards of rushing against Auburn last week (65 yards by Chambliss), so they are still more than capable of moving the ball without Lacy. Just sayin'…Dawgs know that their key to victory is limiting Chambliss through the air, time on the field, and on the ground…as well as stuffing their run game.
@JimmiesNJoes well said! We will also need our Offense to convert every 3rd down until they eventually score a touchdown. This keeps Chambliss watching helplessly on the sidelines and gives our D time to rest and be ready to go!
Avoid dumb turnovers and keep Chambliss in pocket = good road win.
Best way to beat anyone is to keep the opposing offense on the sidelines as cheerleaders for the defense..
Here’s a key piece that hasn’t been brought up yet. Chambliss shouldn’t even be playing college football this season. He was granted an extra season by some crooked judge.
All true my Brother. But Chambliss only had 9 yds. rushing vs TX ! And uncharacteristic for him through 3 INTs. I think our Dawgs are a better defense than TX. But just follow their blueprint only Better !! Go Dawgs !!
