Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Georgia football podcast: Analyst explains why UGA has all it needs to win national championship
Nick Saban won most of his national championships with strong bruising running backs who could carry the work load. In 2009 Mark Ingram carried the football 271 times for a total of 1658 yards with 20 TDs. In 2011 Trent Richardson carried the ball 283 times for a total of 1679 yards with 24 TDs. In 2015 Derrick Henry… -
Re: Bobo
Totally disagree that they changed their offense with Hurts. They changed their philosophy with Tua. With Hurts vs Clemson in 2017 they played D and ran the ball and whipped Clemson 24-6. (Hurts threw 24 times for 120 yards). Then they “evolved” with Tua and lost by 28 to Clemson. Tua threw 34 times for 295 yards. That is… -
Re: LSU Football Twitter account brags ‘SEC has NEVER seen an offense like this’
Popeyethesailor, I agree . . . but imagine if we ran a couple decent screens and two or three square-ins over the middle. Then we can run the ball without a stacked box. But, the back-shoulder to the sideline is all we ever throw and the LBs can crowd the line. We might even convince Johnson or Washington to commit with a… -
Re: Cutting the cord
Other online services I looked at, I wasn't happy with their DVR functionality. But PlayStation Vue seemed to have everything I wanted, like being able to fast forward through commercials. The only limitation was your shows only stay recorded for like 28 or 30 days. But that really wouldn't bother me that much. Shows I… -
Re: Former 5-star prospect Xavian Sorey enters transfer portal
It is tough to lose guys that have talent, are good teammates and have contributed whether in practice of games. While some CFB players are discovering they can get NIL out of HS and then turn around and get NIL again when they transfer (double dip $$$), this is not the case for most of the UGA transfers. If you look at… -
Re: Closer look: ESPN draft rankings love Jalen Carter and Arik Gilbert, snub Stetson Bennett
@BubbaBill...QBR is an ESPN invention. It's not perfect, and it doesn't take into account intangibles and tangible things like height and weight. If Stet makes it to the NFL, his arm strength, accuracy, and decision making will be paramount factors in his success. I agree with you- Stet is surrounded by a better and more… -
Re: Former Georgia players Latavious Brini and Matt Landers help lift Arkansas over South Carolina
For those that wondered about how JTD did. He had a really solid day. Played against a higher competition level than UGA did. Behind an OL that is not even close to the UGA OL. With weapons that pale in comparison to UGA's weapons. JTD 28/40 70.0% 359 9.0 3 1 0 0 165.1 SBIV 24/34 70.6% 300 7.8 1 0 1 17 154.4 Unfortunately… -
Re: Georgia QB JT Daniels shares tale of how UGA sports psychologist helped him overcome adversity
This really gave me a ton of respect for UGA. You don't often see the "softer" side of these macho, world class athletes. They are held to such high standards and insane levels of scrutiny.... it's good to know our university is equipping them to face this adversity while at UGA but also giving them tools to deal with it…
