Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: WATCH: Jake Fromm provides insight into Georgia quarterbacks, Bulldogs’ offense
Mac Jones proved just 2 years ago that you can very much win with a pocket passer. Also Clemson won a title with Trevor Lawrence, and while they did do a lot of RPOs and draw plays with Lawrence I seriously doubt that Beck is any less mobile. Add to that the 2013 title with Jameis Winston and FSU, the 2014 title with… -
Re: Savor the moment, Dawgs fans: This was one for the ages
IMO I think we need to take it easy or just stop talking about the SB doubters, most of which (If we are being honest) grumblings were from last season(myself included), because it serves no purpose and is very divisive at this point. I follow these Dawgs as close as anyone and have since reaching adulthood in the early… -
Re: Georgia stock report: SEC title cause for celebration, Ohio State pairing cause for concern
I've seen the almighty STATS of all 4 QBs and what I don't see, included among those STATS, is "Number of Plays" or "Game Time Played". I would think that if you were going to compare numbers, you would want to look at all the data. Otherwise, how could you possibly know how much weight to give each STAT for each player?… -
A National Day that is not "trite"...
Today's topic is one that I consider important and one that I see almost every day in some form or other. NATIONAL YOUTH CONFIDENCE DAY Building a framework of positive role models is vital to developing responsible, confident young adults. Incidentally, National Youth Confidence Day, on October 20, encourages us to… -
Re: Undefined discussion subject.
@Brooksie "I have to believe that the coaches are intentionally holding back on his designed plays to keep opposing teams film review to a minimum. As the Dawgs competition gets stronger, so should our offense." I seriously doubt this. First, absolutely no one does it. No one "goes vanilla" for 7 weeks. It prevents your… -
Re: Undefined discussion subject.
@thadec You never heard me defending LRiley. There are guys that I would not want representing the school I root for. Spurrier, Mullin, Riley, Jimbo and the Captain of that team Deion Sanders. Those guys are football coaches....only. They are not someone I would entrust my son to during very formative years to make into a… -
Re: Georgia football-Samford instant observations as Bulldogs come away with a sloppy 33-0 win
I had to look up the "Mercy Rule" as I wasn't aware it was an actual rule. According to Wikipedia: [The most recent example of an NCAA football game shortened by invoking this rule occurred September 1, 2018 during a game Georgia played against Austin Peay in Athens Georgia. With the score 45–0 in the 3rd quarter and a… -
NATIONAL TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY
Kind of odd, but, after going K through PhD, I don't have a teacher in mind who made a "significant" difference in my life. I guess they all did, in one way or another. From the nuns who slapped my wrist with a ruler to my dissertation chairman, they all added something to the mix. I'm certainly not ungrateful at all.… -
Re: Kirby Smart makes QB declaration on SEC Network, helps Stetson Bennett polish fundamentals
I think the problem is determining what is meant by "best" QB. Of course Bennett is going to be considered the "best" in Practice because practice doesn't simulate a game like playing Bama. I guarantee you that in the past 2 weeks, the practices haven't adjusted to our failure points. I'm sure the D wasn't pushing Bennett…
