Re: Kirby Smart must answer one question for the Georgia offense: Is JT Daniels even an option anymore?
This might be more snarky than I'm intending. This whole conversation is exhausting, and I'm trying to get this off my chest before dinner so I can enjoy the rest of my evening. So apologies in advance. 2021 - JT comes out with an injury and loses job to Bennett and doesn't start again I'll leave this to the million other… -
Re: Georgia football podcast: Writer says UGA could get unexpected ‘threat’ from division rival
BA, stop trying to make stories out of nothing. Nobody cares what this guy says. You are trying too hard to prove something or someone else wrong if it doesn't fit your narrative. With UT's offense and the, let's be honest, a more inexperienced defense for UGA, UT could easily challenge UGA. UT will have a deeper roster on… -
Re: Atlanta Braves 2021 Season Thread
I strongly disagree with your opinion that Snitker is ''a **** manager''. I do think something went a bit haywire last night in his thinking though. I think he made mistakes in almost randomly choosing the starters of both game 4 and game 5. He was quick to pull Lee in game 4 though, and he got a bit lucky in getting the… -
Re: Peter333
Kasey, since you brought up the Four Horsemen, I will re-post a comment I made on another thread some time ago, in case anyone may find it interesting. My comment (below) was in response to someone suggesting that Swift, Zeus, Cook, and Herrien are the new "four horsemen." ------- The Four Horsemen- I love it! Our guys… -
Re: Fan favorites: A Dawg Walk down Memory Lane
So many great memories- Tarkenton's pass to Herron to beat Auburn and win the SEC in 1959. The Flea Flicker when back-up QB Kirby Moore threw to Pat Hodgson who lateraled to Bob Taylor who went down the sideline and scored a TD and Moore to Hodgson for the 2 pt conversion to upset #1 and defending National Champion Alabama… -
Re: It’s not easy to narrow down my five most memorable UGA games
I was at #4 Georgia over Clemson, 27-12, Oct. 5, 1991 and #3. Georgia over Auburn, 45-20, Nov. 10, 2007, both very memorable games. I remember Soulja Boy at the AU game and thought it was cool/fun, the players were dancing in formation for the kickoff, the stadium was rocking. Shortly after the game, a few days later,… -
Re: Anybody worried about Fields injury????
The injury should not be much of an issue for football because the finger does not have to flex a great deal throwing the football, although it will create some resistance pressure. If Justin was a pitcher and not a shortstop, I think there would have been more long-term concern having to bend the finger more and putting… -
Re: Kirby Smart pushes back against slow offensive starts for Georgia football
FYI...UGA tied for 2nd most points scored, among top ten teams. And, I bet they held their opponent to the fewest points. Lol....hell, I think they outscored most of em, in the 2nd qtr, alone. If we're keeping up with margin of victory, now. UGA's average margin of victory over the last 33 games, is roughly 27 points. I… -
Re: NFL Draft 2023: Live updates, picks, analysis for Georgia football players
@1SICemDAWGS1 Bryce Young was sacked 39 times in 2021. No idea why you have a high regard for that OL. Also, in 2023 Young had 3300 yards in 12 games. Oh yeah, his completion % was 67% in 2021 and dropped to 64.5% in 2022. His rating went from 167.5 to 163. His yards per attempt: 8.9 to 8.8 (10 to 9.9 adjusted). Yards per… -
Re: 3 takeaways from Kirby Smart: Brock Bowers flashes Heisman-worthy talents
Overall a very uninspired game (save for BB - he always plays at 100% intensity/concentration - even when injured). Fielding punts is not for everybody. It is a tough job with very little margin for error. Rule #1 catch every punt unless it is coming down inside the 5. Rule #2 see Rule #1 and know when to fair catch.…
