Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
The rule only applies to being hired in a non-coaching position. TE would be an on-field coach if replacing Hankton so would be fine. 11.4.4 Individual Associated with a Prospective Student-Athlete -- Bowl Subdivision Football. [FBS] In bowl subdivision football, during a two-year period before a prospective… -

Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Before everyone gets carried away. Update on numbers re 85 max. End of 2019 season 83 leaving 2 open. 15 Seniors out of eligibility plus 3 early declares (Swift, Thomas, Wilson) results in 20 open spots. Current signees and commits of 20 leaves no open spots at this point. Adding Ringo, Evans and 1-4 others (23 - 26 total… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
The limit up to 2012 was 28 so Bama accumulated at least 8 cfwd spots even signing 25. Early enrollees can be back counted so it is likely 8 or more of their 2013 class was back-counted (Bad Kirby 🤣), 2013 limit changed to 25 Bama signed 26 at least 7 cfwd. 2014 signed 24 so 8+ cfwd. 2015 signed 24 so 9+ cfwd. 2016 signed… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
My biggest concern for our fan base is the reaction if we don't finish #1 in recruiting. As I've said many times before - I get it - but the main thing is that Georgia is going to have an outstanding class. Singing a 310-320 pt class is outstanding. Above that is incredible. Enjoy this Dawgnation - whether we finish 1, 2… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
BTW. The only way that Zirkel could have signed an NLI and not count is if he is not on scholarship until January 2021. That would make him a grey shirt. 15.5.1.10.1.1 Application. [FBS] A prospective student-athlete who signs a National Letter of Intent or an institutional offer of financial aid or a student-athlete who… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Based on prior years: Two new rankings, one will come out around 1/15 and will be due to either ESPN or Rivals (not sure which updated at 12/15, but this would be the other). Then Top247 will release its final rankings around 1/31 and that will be the final composite update. The total number of five stars is meant to… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Post JJ & Cox leaving UGA had (83) scholarships used up for fall 2019. 15 seniors leave (would have been 16 if J Roch hadn’t redshirted) so that leaves us at (68) or (17) available scholarships. then we have (5) guys declare Fromm/Swift/Thomas/Wilson/Kindley that leaves us with (22) as far as I can remember Otis Reese &… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
The relevant rules are. 15.02.9 Recruited Student-Athlete.
