Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Anyone see/read this article on Vince Dooley?
@levander. You are absolutely correct in your comparison of Dooley to Spurrier and Bryant. However if you look at the years preceding Dooley, minus the one 10-1 season, it was abysmal. As for the fertile recruiting grounds, that wasn't there during most of Dooley' s career. The state of Georgia didn't become the recruiting… -
Re: *HELPFUL TIP* Do you want to change your Profile Picture/Avatar? Here's how...
Hmmm...the instructions are showing for me. Perhaps a firewall is blocking the image I pasted with instructions? Regardless here they are: Changing your profile picture/avatar: 1. Click on the settings (gear icon) to the right of your user name at the top of the page 2. Click Edit Profile 3. From the Profile page, click… -
Re: ‘Extremely confident’ Alabama offense needs Bryce Young magic against dominant Georgia defense
THey are who the are and we are who we are. They aren't going to change their stripes in a week and neither are we. I think we all know who the better team is, now there is only one thing left to do is -prove it! I did have to laugh about the diminutive QB statement though. Oh the irony. Our defense will not rattle Young.… -
Re: Georgia football recruiting: Ranking boost for new top-rated 2022 commit
It's clear to see, Kirby and co. recruit kids who they feel will be able to produce regardless of their recruiting ranking. Look at 2021 Receiver Adonai Mitchell ( as the latest ) who was only a 3-Star and the No. 64 rated Receiver. Seems Kirby and his staff recognized Mitchell's talents while the recruiting experts missed… -
Re: Wake Forest helmet for Jamie Newman at Senior Bowl after 'tremendously tough' fall
“We had to put him in Wake Forest stuff,” Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy said. “If we put him in Georgia stuff …. the vitriol among DawgNation on Twitter has been unbelievable.” That is freaking hilarious. Hopefully we are near the end of this particular drama. Don't give us any of the "it was Grandma's fault" BS.… -
Re: ESPN worries about championship letdown for 2022 Georgia football team
BA made a big deal about BAMA only winning the 1 NC since they started scoring more points. OVer 40 per game. THen he says outside of last year. In other words, you can win the NC without having a 45 point a game offense. Well duh, we did it. But what he fails to say is we did it with a "generational" defense. And a higher… -
Re: WATCH: Why Broderick Jones is the most important recruit for Georgia football
No way he commits to Auburn. Why would he? Jones will be walking into the best opportunity at UGA. I truly believe he will be a higher draft pick if he spends three years here. The only reason to choose Auburn over UGA is early playing time. If Auburn wasn't allowed to recruit in UGA they would rarely be in the top 20. I… -
Re: Kirby Smart: Georgia football puts trust in Xavier Truss at left tackle for now
Better said(18 players on scholarship,,,,High-profile recruits). Entering spring COMPETITION for the starting roles after losing 3 starters to NFL. Are we to know who will be starters without practices/ scrimmages? Is this predetermined? Have not completed spring drills, G-day game. Film not reviewed..."Kirby better figure… -

Re: Opinion: There's still time for UGA's offense to prove its Playoff worthy
Clemson is going if they win out, so is Ohio St if they do. If UGA wins out and beats LSU at #1 or #2 they get in. 3 conference champions . then the question is who is the team that didn't win it's conference but is the 4th best team in the nation. Might depend on the closeness of the UGA-LSU game( of course provided we…
