Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Still want Evans but just for kicks...if they end up only having Milton and Wren* in this class because they decide not to (or unable to) flip another elite 2020 RB, how many RB spots do they recruit in the 2021 class? And who would be their targets? *Note: I know Wren is technically listed as an ATH, but he’s used… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
So here is the question then, and I realize it is a fool's errand, but.... Assuming we get the BEST class we can at this point (INCLUDING Burton, Theo, DW, Smith and the other leans); who do you 'kick' out to take what would be AT BEST the #10 back on @SoFL_Dawg 's list?? Assuming we are out on Tank, Lloyd, Chaney and… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
“kids these days” Should just say “kids”. Adolescents aren’t done maturing. Always been the case. It’s not different now. Every generation since the beginning of time has been convinced that every generation was normal up until this generation of kids. Truth is they are all the same and all unique in their own way. But the… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
if we’re looking for a speed back, why are we not just looking at what we had right in front of us all along? Cory Wren runs a 4.3 and plays running back in highschool (some would say that’s why he’s not in our class). Any chance we look at him for lightning? I know @SoFL_Dawg has said he likes his tape... He’s the same… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Mecole is a professional, while Arian is a teenager. At this stage in their respective lives, Arian Smith is substantially faster than Mecole Hardman. Arian represented the US in U20 Pan American games and ran the lead leg in the record setting 4 x 100m relay along with Matt Boling (anchor leg). They ran a 38.62. Mecole is… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
why would we add S to this class when we’re losing 5 CBs next cycle, why not jus add that 3rd CB or jus keep two and go DB heavy like we did in 2018. Plus I still think some of those 2018 DBs like speed, Poole, Bishop, and Webb still have something to say. On top of that we have a chance to pull the 5 6’5 safety for next… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Agree....all things that need improvement. with my past experiences and the fact that I'm a father of a kid that is pushing 6'6"......I can attest to the fact that these kids struggle with pad level.... 1. Lower body is never strong enough for kids this size at this age. 2. Flexibility is always a problem in high school… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Burroughs appeared (I'm basing this on size only) to be the one true NT type of player in UGA's 2020 class prior to the de-commitment. Of the names tossed around as the remaining defensive line targets (Burch, Dexter, Z. Walker), none of those guys fit the physical profile of a big bodied NT either. Do we just hope to keep… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
@JeffSentell Thank you so very much for the reality check as a reminder. Trying to "raise mine right" way out here on the Left Coast, while I am personally missing Georgia badly. I have to hit the brakes myself during the game(s) each week, and then use that opportunity to teach my little folks to really enjoy the moment… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
If it were this year for instance, He would arrive on campus probably over the July event weekend and enroll and go on scholarship August 1st (if that's when fall practice starts). He will be eligible to play 2019 but would count as a 2020 recruit. For a kicker the loss of 8 weeks "practice" is not as much a problem as a…
