Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Georgia football podcast: Anonymous coach blames UGA offense for Jake Fromm's draft slide
Two items. One, on the offense, some stats from the "results" category. Hot Rod's PATs and FGAs (field goal attempts): 2018: 65 PATs, 23 FGAs / 2019: 46 PATs, 33 FGAs. That's a drop off of 19 PATs (touchdowns) in a year. FGAs 2016: 18, 2017: 23, 2018: 23, 2019: 33. Pretty clear 2019 saw a serious drop off in offensive… -
Re: What is Adam Sasser alleged to have shouted at Justin Fields ?
I think this thing with Sasser is probably a little over blown... Reading between the lines he said the n word as in "put my n in the game" and the girls took high offense. By no means would it ever be acceptable for him (or anyone) to be saying that in a public place not to mention someone representing UGA athletics, that… -
Re: Baseball recruiting class
For anyone interested, the 16u national championship is taking place tomorrow at East Cobb Baseball at 2:00 p.m. The semifinal games are in the morning at 9:00 & 11:30. 9:00 a.m. Team Elite (Winder, GA) vs. Canes National (Fredericksburg, VA). The Team Elite program has had 180 players taken in the MLB draft. The current… -
Re: Georgia football ready to take on unbeaten Tennessee: ‘They have perfect storm’
@GoodOlDawg The reason for the turnovers is that UGA is still pushing Bennett for Heisman and the NFL. They knew lots of media guys and NFL scouts were at the game ... to watch Richardson. What better way to shift the focus to Bennett than to have him outshine Richardson? The Gators' horrible defense was supposed to be the… -
Re: Brock Bowers unsurprisingly at his best in national championship win: ‘His future is limitless’
Brock Bowers is right on the edge of being the Herschel Walker of the TE position AND the Herschel Walker of all-time greatest player, loved and worshipped by multiple generations of Dawg fans, that has ever stepped foot on a football field in Athens, Georgia. Heck, even now I hear people at the barber shop and at… -
Re: Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud praises Georgia football program: ‘Helluva team, great team’
Stroud couldn't run UGA's current offense as well as Bennett does. If you plugged Bennett into OSU's offense, he would be, at least as successful. If you want to have an opinion like that...fine. But, at least qualify it. Why is he a more "talented QB". They are both accurate, Stroud has about 10 uds greater throwing… -
Re: Holy moly, former Georgia player Tyrique Stevenson finished out strong at Miami
"Tyrique talks about giving himself a chance to mature, wouldn't staying at Georgia have been the mature thing to do?"____@WildmanSlayer Yeah...it would've been. But, that's Tyrique's point. He "was not mature" enough to do that, at the time. It's not like he was in the military and HAD TO overcome his homesickness in… -
Re: Cormani McClain decision puts greater microscope on Georgia football-Florida recruiting gap
According to OnlineAthens.com UGA will make $4.7 million per SEC home game. Per Jacksonville.com revenue generated from the UGA v FL game this year is expected to be around $4.55 million. By this information if the game was changed to a home and home - UGA would make an additional approximate $150,000 on years designated… -
Re: SEC legend Tim Tebow: Georgia needs ‘elite quarterback play to get over the hump’
I love the way folks bash Hemingway when he’s totally correct. Some of you guys just can’t handle the truth and want to blame everything on Bennett. Over and over I’m hearing we would have won with a Heisman type QB like JT so put this in your pipe and smoke it: Bennett scored 24 points (lost by 17), 61% completions, threw… -
Re: Winners and losers from proposed College Football Playoff expansion
Seems to make sense, so I'm guessing that it won't see the light of day. I would be interested to see someone take the final rankings from each year and see what the matchups would've been. It seems to be the best compromise to make the conference championships means SOMETHING. A Typical #1 Bama could lose in the SEC…
