Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: COVID-19 Check-in
Still kinda quiet here in the Upstate. Just found out we are out of school for all of April, so I filmed my first lessons for my classes to post, teaching concepts from our next units. My 16 and 17 year old are not giddy about this, but I have repurposed my "this will seem like a short time looking back on it" speech, to… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
Gray, I talk to folks in Sweden almost every day for my work. I have a boat sitting in Sweden that I am trying to get over here to the US. What they are telling me is that at first they only tested those sick enough to go to the hospital. Then the virus spread without people realizing how far it had spread until it was… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
A certain hospital in neighboring St. John’s county has at least 24 + cases and is converting their ICU specifically, As well As cutting off non essential surgeries. Specifically lots of young patients being as young as 18 years old as well. St. Johns county has been hit hard last few weeks. 5 of my family members have… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
Doing ok in SE Alabama. Schools are closed in the county I live in. My wife works at a Thai restaurant and I'm a little concerned that they are still serving customers. I'd be ok if they only had to go orders. I do expect Gov. Ivey or local mayor to bring things to a halt this week. Good to read the reports that everyone… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
I absolutely agree that the economy will not be completely back while there are still deaths. But the economy will be open. Retailers won't be fully staffed... but they'll be staffed. Entertainment places won't be fully staffed....but they'll be staffed. Ballparks won't be full.....but some vendors will be open. More… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
I know these are some turbulent times which we live; but thank God for Scot Sinclair's exercise routine. I renamed it "counteract covid-19" exercise routine. As we made our way into the driveway, my family scratched and clawed all the way. It started out rough with the 5 min jog followed up with overhead squats… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
Thanks for all of these updates and info-sharing, @CaliforniaDawg - hoping you and your family continue to stay healthy! Personally speaking, I also don't understand how sharing facts or testimony from a SME (subject matter expert) can inherently be political. As the adage goes "all feedback is good, some is useful"...I… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
Wayx, its a two way street. Liberals should verify anything they read on liberal media sources and conservatives should verify everything they read on conservative media sources. Try to bridge the divide that scars our nation not add to the fire. Many on here come from different perspectives but show respect and that is… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
I live in Nassau county which has 1 death and a population of 100,000. I and my family always wear a mask when going out other than walking in ares that are not heavily traveled (mainly low traffic subdivisions). Regarding your comment that your county is statistically repeated thousands of time I would point out that a… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in
I’m having all the symptoms. I get my test tomorrow. Temp 100-101. Chest a little tight. Pulse oximeter still says 95-97% sat on room air. HR 80bpm. Don’t have batteries for BP cuff. Resting some. Can’t sleep though. Trying to exercise at home to fight this virus. Kind of scared. I have no family out here since moving to…
