Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
A little over 15% of total hospital beds occupied by CV 19 patients is correct for all of FL, so not nearly as much stress on hospitals as I feared. Miami Dade is comparable to overall state numbers, but I'm not aware of published info on CV admissions by county. They have a little under 20% of beds still available, 1538… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
@Bankwalker provide evidence this is happening on a large scale. I have yet to see any. What she is saying is absolutely consistent with what I have posted on this thread. Two numbers are important. Those who died with and those that died of COVID-19. She works at the Illinois state department and in the first video was… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
Wish this weren't the way Covid19 cases were going in our country I stripped out everything but the picture. The y axis is number of new C ovid 19 cases and the x axis is time. This graph shows why I am worried about selling things this fall because of how the economy will be affected. We need to have a smart Covid19… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
Understand and a digital form requesting symptom information would probably result in few returns. Oddly, to even get a testing appointment you have to state you have at least 2 of 5 C-19 symptoms, forcing people to make up symptoms, because there's no checkbox regarding being exposed to someone who's tested positive. Both… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
I've seen all the data, and it is incredibly weak. Ice cream sales have an incredibly strong correlation with violent crime. Does that mean ice cream causes violent crime? Same thing with organic food sales and autism rates. Correlation means nothing if you don't control for confounding variables. The pre-existing… -

Some people have been let go from there jobs others have moved states bc of remote work. my family made the best of and I can finally say I’m moving down south for good. I’m not moving to GA but moving to Hilton head to be close to the beach.… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
We know it is severe. Given the severity of the disease it is important to keep track of the spread in as close as real time as possible for appropriate responses. Early, noticeable symptoms of COVID-19 are very similar to many other diseases, so testing is important to make sure the patient gets proper treatment and… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
From the Sun Herald "The state announced an additional 18 deaths Saturday, bringing the three-day total to 58. Hospitalization numbers also set new records on Thursday with 855 patients with confirmed cases in hospitals. There were another 262 with suspected cases, bringing the total in hospitals to 1,117. The number of… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
Hospitalizations The majority of people who get COVID-19 will not require hospitalization, say health officials. As of July 20, there were 943 people hospitalized with confirmed infections in Mississippi, which is the state’s highest number of hospitalized patients. The number of patients in ICU also increased from 284 to… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
Let me be clear......I do not think it is a joke...never have....but I believe the CDC is currently saying covid 19 has a death rate of .01% and that they are including all influenza and pneumonia in that death rate. All life is precious.....would never suggest otherwise.......but the death rate seems awfully low to be…
