Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Marvin Jones Jr. to miss spring drills due to surgery per report
Yes sir !! Exactly. Kirby and his staff have done an Excellent job getting guys that fit the template. In some Very rare cases they Might have missed on character. And I stress very rare, and might. But I imagine that that is probably the hardest part of evaluating a guy. Because some guys will Act the proper role but then… -
Re: Georgia football injury report: Injuries continue to hinder running back oom
Those are Excellent questions on your part. And I sure don’t have the answers. And it would take me so Deep and Long Term thinking to even attempt to answer them. But here’s some knee jerk answers and it’s some what u g l y. When I say this I don’t mean all inclusive, but I do think as a majority it’s true. Here it is.… -
Re: Sorting through CFP field drama: 4 best teams, or political football?
Here's what I know from purely looking at the scoreboards. #2 Ohio State - Unproven. "Marquee" wins against #20 Notre Dame (see below), (5-5) Michigan State (see below), and #14 Penn State (see below) #3 Michigan - Unproven. See #2 Ohio State. Penn State is the best of a MUCH lower level of competition. #4 TCU - Better… -
Re: Challenges mount for No. 1 Georgia: Two captains out, potential QB controversy brewing
“QB controversy”…..I don’t think so. Please trust our coaches to make the correct decisions. Right now according to ESPN and Brandon Adams (yesterday) we have the 4th most efficient offense in the country with Bama #2. Also, according to Chip Towers and the NCAA (both this week), Stetson Bennett would be #3 in QB rating if… -
Re: Schedule change ends up benefitting Georgia football after Alabama loss
Connor, Kentucky is much improved under Stoops without a doubt but they not a threat to us yet. As you stated, they don't have enough passing game which has been true for them all of Stoop's tenure. They'll lose by at least 17. How can Mathis go from being the starter coming out of camp and having a bad half against an… -
Re: Georgia football podcast: Anonymous coach blames UGA offense for Jake Fromm's draft slide
Two items. One, on the offense, some stats from the "results" category. Hot Rod's PATs and FGAs (field goal attempts): 2018: 65 PATs, 23 FGAs / 2019: 46 PATs, 33 FGAs. That's a drop off of 19 PATs (touchdowns) in a year. FGAs 2016: 18, 2017: 23, 2018: 23, 2019: 33. Pretty clear 2019 saw a serious drop off in offensive… -
Re: 3 quick takeaways from Georgia's 30-6 win over Vanderbilt
This was a typical Georgia Bulldog performance. We have all the talent and depth on the planet but our coaches apparently have not been able to apply it for the last three years. There was a roll up of the game on another site that basically said the that Georgia came out to an early lead and was content to sit on the lead… -
Re: Colin Kapernick has become face of Nike’s new ad campaign
This is filled with a lot of wrong views and false narratives. The ad campaign as a whole (Serena included) has been getting nothing but rave reviews. The fact that a man from the military met with Kap and said, "please don't sit, kneel. It's what the military does to respect its fallen brethren... But most of all its as… -
Re: Braves
Well sure, he has about as many at batsthis year as in 2017. This year he hasn’t had the same luck as in 2017-18 I described, but he has also been a lot worse in terms of contact quality. 2017: xwoba - 304. Woba - 331 2018: xwoba - 310. Woba - 346 2019: xwoba - 267. Woba - 263 I want to note to less informed people that…
