Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Your Top 5 artist or band from 85’ - 95’
Favorite shows of 84- 85 my freshman year rem- in their prime in 85- who went to the legion field show? U2-incredible at the Omni on the Unforgettable Fire Tour Roger Waters at the Omni in 85. Jason and the Scorchers at the 40 Watt in spring of 85 Sting at Stegman Coliseum, sound was awful there. This may have been 86,so… -
Re: Alabama RB Najee Harris respects Georgia defense, 'straight dudes out there, dogs, really'
And Najee is 1 of the top RB's in the country. This should be a great matchup, DAWGS stout Defense vs Bama's potent offense. If DAWGS can exploit Bamas defense the way ole miss did, DAWGS should get the W Don't see the DAWGS scoring 48, nor do I see Bama lighting up the scoreboard the way they've done this season..GoDAWGS! -
Re: Georgia basketball takes shot at shocking the conference, invades No. 8 Kentucky’s Rupp Arena
Now a 24 point game in the 2nd half..85-61 last I saw. DAWGS look flat tonight while Kentucky came ready to play. DAWGS fought back late in the 2nd half to make it a close game, but lost by 9,105-96. You score 96 points, you should win a lot more than you lose. Just so happened that Kentucky had a little better game than… -
Re: Tennessee defense identifies Georgia ‘Agent Zero’ among Bulldogs’ biggest offensive threats
If the DAWGS can find success in the running game, that should tilt the field towards UGA. It grinds out the clock, keeping UT's potent offense off the field. Hard to score points when your offense is forced to be nothing more than sideline cheerleaders. Something Alabama didn't do. Sure UT scored 52 points on Bama, but… -
Re: ‘Ascending’ Georgia bigger favorite over Alabama after Saturday dominance, line jumps
Bryce Young does not deserve the Heisman, Jordan Davis has outshined overhyped 5* players all season. Unless you're a QB, RB, or WR, the chances of winning the Heisman are slim to none. Last defensive player to win the Heisman was Charles Woodson (who actually played both offense and defense, so not a completely true… -
Re: Fletcher Westphal: Meet the 6-foot-8 OT prospect with a 17-step process for picking the right school
He lists his criteria, then places Florida in his top schools 😆 no way I'd live in the cess pool known as Gainesville, Fla nor would I want my kid to go there.. Sure, it's a lot easier to start at uf than UGA, that's the difference in talent, that swings heavily in favor of UGA. And past wins.. DAWGS are 29-1 the past 2… -
Re: Season’s start brings Sanford Stadium newbies, game day changes
My 1st UGA home game was in 1973 at the age of 11. UGA played Clemson that Saturday, winning 31-14 if I remember correctly. Athens High grad Andy Johnson at QB, another Athens High grad at RB in Horace King, with Jimmy Poulos his running mate. Gene Washington, and Richard Appleby at WR to name a few, the name Glynn… -
Re: Even Dell McGee sees the Branson Robinson-Nick Chubb similarities for Georgia football running back
I agree, he's not getting any praise as of yet. Some say he's not a top RB. He was good enough to be recruited by the likes of Clemson (commited to Clemson at one point) and Alabama, I'd say that's pretty good. I'm looking forward to watching All of UGA's Running Backs this year. Another to keep an eye on is Daijun… -
Re: Georgia football podcast: ESPN GameDay host casts doubts on ‘unproven’ UGA QBs
As I've said before..just because a team has a returning QB doesn't guarantee instant success. Who knows, Michigan QB could have 3 poor games to start the season, be benched, and be relegated to being nothing more than a sideline spectator. Or, not wishing bad luck on anyone, but he could also be injured 1st snap of the… -
Re: Georgia football historically big betting favorite over TCU in CFP Championship Game
As with every team UGA has faced this season, TCU will bring their A game, and be ready to play. Hopefully, the DAWGS get these mistakes that Kirby mentioned, corrected before that time . I'm expecting a true battle with TCU, but the DAWGS talent, and depth will take over in the 2nd half. Although that depth isn't quite as…
