Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
Yale, I agree on the need for well designed RCTs, but in this case I think we have a mountain of observational evidence. Much of it hasn't been reviewed and published, but if we use it as a launching pad to study further it can be very useful. Between the study in the Philippines and the one in Indonesia, there is enough… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
These Doctors I am talking to say it does. A patient here in Jacksonville at the beginning got it and could barely walk into Baptist South, said his chest X-ray was the worst they had seen so far. The Doctors gave it to him up front and he left the hospital without even going on a ventilator. Must have been a placebo… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
Yeah, AZ is having an all time heat blast and they are spiking, while FL is seeing typical high 70s dew points and we are getting a big spike. I think the heat and humidity theory is in serious trouble. On a different note, I thought Yale was joking around with the cucumber vs. CV 19 graph, but I saw a discussion about the… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
A couple of anecdotal but encouraging reports. A college age niece and and a ~40 yr old nephew just had it. The niece said it caused less severe symptoms than a common cold, very mild. The nephew got pretty sick. Headaches, fever, muscle aches, coughing, but fortunately nothing more serious. He was quite impressed by the… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
The only doctors who went against "the narrative" purposefully misrepresented data to get public support for reopening the state of California because their urgent care facilities were struggling. Can you point to any other doctor that has come forward with evidence to show this is nothing more than a hoax or being blown… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
All data being reported are being heavily scrutinized by the media especially at the local level. The media is investigating and reporting oddities to get answers. This demonstrates there is still a healthy level of accountability. How do we know that COVID-19 didn't contribute to the crash? It may have caused an acute… -

https://off-guardian.org/2020/07/07/second-wave-not-even-close/ I just read this interesting article on herd immunity and thought the board would be interested (especially @texdawg 😎). No doubt, there will be disagreement, but it makes some fascinating and potentially encouraging points. Executive summary: herd immunity… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
To add to this informative article, Swedish scientists have been doing a lot of research on these memory T cells that are capable of mounting a defense against CV 19. They have tested a lot of Swedish blood and they have found that roughly, for every positive IGG serology test, there are two negative tests that contain… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
And the beat goes on in Mississippi new record for my 6 county area for daily cases From The Sun Herald: South Mississippi registered its largest single-day report for new cases of COVID-19 at 349 with George County and Jackson County each reporting over 120 positive results, according to the state health department.… -
Re: COVID-19 Check-in 2.0
My son who tested positive and had a fever and was a little achy was told to come back to the CareSpot he was tested at in Clay County FL fter 14 days to retest. He went back yesterday but the Dr. told him there was absolutely no reason to test again since he didn't have symptoms. He did give him a list of suggestions and…
