- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I'm not sure when or why the term "Pods" came into play inreguarding splitting conferences up into 4 "pods". I'm not really against the pod format, in some cases, I really love some of those "Pods" predictions/speculations that are out there. However, I'm still pro "2 Divisions" because of the SECCG.... Maybe I've missed… -

Pods were used very effectively in the 2008 USA golf Ryder Cup victory. Captain Paul Azinger split his 12-man team into 4-man pods based on personality type. During practice and play the golfers only teamed with pod members, resulting in a win for team USA. A good book about the pod system, useful for business, team…
