The Falcons don't need offensive help, except for RB, and that's not something you trade up for. (Arguably they still need OL help too, but after investing two Rd1 picks last year I don't think they can go back to that well so soon.) A good defensive player will be available at 16. For sure. He's definitely an NFL player, but this was a deep CB class and he is a reach at 16. Falcons got played so hard. Couldn't trade up to get Young or Okudah. Decided to sit and wait for Kinlaw and by the time he got picked it was too late to trade out. They panic picked the top CB left on their board. -

I vote to either stay @ #16 and one of the players we 're targeting will fall to us, or... trade down in first round for more picks. Heck, what's wrong with getting the 16th or 32nd best player in 2020? Nobody knows how the pick(s) will perform until after their 1st or 2nd season. Nuff said, Go Dawgs! -

Agreed, but what do you think the move is? That's what's hard to figure. Young would be the perfect pick but can ATL meet the asking price? Hard to see WAS coming off that spot. The 2nd tier is Chaisson, Epenesa, Gross-Matos. If that's the play, don't you just sit tight at 16? I like Brown and Kinlaw, but would you move up…
