Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Braves Infield
Lets do a little comparision At age 25, Scherzer was 21-26. 3.69 ERA 422 IP 154 Walks 424 K's At age 25, Folty was 23-25. 4.87 ERA 382.2 IP 130 Walks 345 K's. Numbers look pretty similar to me considering Folty was 25 last season. Scherzer didn't gain his all star status until 28. Folty is still a couple years away. -
Re: Dylan Raiola should help Georgia offense thrive against tougher SEC schedule
I've been to the future and this is what I saw: Beck in '23: 4800 yards passing, 37 TDs, 8 interceptions, #12 draft pick in '24 Vandagriff '24: 4200 yards passing, 28 TDs, 5 interceptions, plus 400 yards rushing, #12 draft pick in '25 Raiola '25: 4900 yards passing, 39 TDs, 9 interceptions, plus 250 yards rushing, won't… -
Re: What the future of the Georgia football-Clemson rivalry will look like
Nobody that's ever made such a broad answer has always batted .1000. But as time gets closer im beginning to think more and more every day we win by at least 10. This game for CU is their Super bowl because they play either great hs teams, or average hs teams in conference. Plus OOC games against Citadel and USCjr aren't… -
Re: Nakobe Dean on strong sophomore start: 'I feel like I have grown tremendously'
Hate to be the one that states the obvious, but, they will return to the defense they looked like the first 3 games is because, they get to go back playing sub-par offenses. The last 4 top 10 offenses they played over the last 4 years, Oklahoma (over 45 points), Alabama (SECCG 35 points), LSU (SECCG 37 points) and this… -
Re: Georgia football podcast: Defense still a major part of UGA's championship formula
Seriously, it’s mind-numbing that you think a defense that gives up 28 points but broke up seven passes did a better job than a defense that gave up 14 points but only deflected three passes. Laughable. Absurd. You were looking for ANY statistic that LSU outperformed UGA in, and I guess you found one. You might as well say… -
Re: Star Florida State wide receiver Johnny Wilson will not play in the Orange Bowl
Had Bama lost Milroe, they would have never beaten Georgia and it would have been Georgia, Michigan, Washington and Texas....FSU is not as good as any of these teams and would have been #5 and played/got beaten by Bama or TOS. FSU's ONLY salvation is to prove they were worthy by beating The Dawgs otherwise it's next… -
Re: Social media reacts to SEC Coach of the Year poll: Kirby Smart, Josh Heupel or Brian Kelly?
As MG mentioned, Kirby has overcome so much this year with 28 players leaving the team for the NFL and transfer portal. To also be able to keep the team in check - not allow the players to get comfortable with what last year's team did and work hard to carve out a new identity for this year's team - it's an amazing… -
Re: 7 fearless predictions: Georgia vs. Michigan in Orange Bowl CFP Semifinal
Nice analysis Mike. The turnovers in our big game losses are telling. I'd also add that the mental aspect of a team coming off a big loss versus a team coming off a big win can be a difference maker. That's my biggest concern with the Dawgs. Other than that, if we execute and play the way we have for much of the season… -
Re: NC State disqualified from CWS semi final because of Covid protocols
Just a small sample to illustrate a point - Fulton Co has a population of 1.7 million people. In the past 28 days, a total of 13 people have died as an “attributed” result of covid. Thirteen out of 1,700,000,000. Of those, 100% are over the age of 50. The demographic breakdown is as follows: 1 person was asian, 1 person…
