Re: Social media sounds off on latest officiating issues coming out of Georgia-Florida game
There is a picture on the internet that clearly shows the ball on the ground before the receiver traps it in his arms. So, sorry gator fans, that was not a catch.
Re: Hugh Freeze fired at Auburn, as another Georgia football rival enters the coaching carousel
What a system. You fail at your job and are rewarded with a golden parachute.
Go, Dawgs!

It was a catch on replay and I would have begrudgingly agreed and actually did at first. And then you watched ALL the replay angles and can clearly see in the view from behind that the ball did, in fact, touch the ground.
But sure, claim, the catch. And then Stockton DOESN'T take a knee and runs it into the endzone and we still win. Go be quiet, mudworms.

Re: Georgia football final grades following 24-20 win over Florida
And what made it even better, Bowens was originally committed to florida. I hope that late Bowens TD gives uf fans nightmares for weeks to come.

Re: Georgia football final grades following 24-20 win over Florida
Just when the frustration builds watching Gunner make another bad pass or decision, he essentially wins the game. Nobody ever said he was the best QB in college ball, but everybody says he's a winner. I'll take the latter, thank you.
Interesting that you feature the video of the numbskull saying the 4Q incomplete pass call was horrible, when in fact it was the right call and would have been a travesty to have over-turned it.
As for Branch, what's distinctive about him is not only his route running and YAC, but he catches EVERYTHING… how refreshing!
Go Dawgs!
Re: Georgia football final grades following 24-20 win over Florida
I think this is right... and smart (no pun intended) by CKS/Bobo, if actually true.
I continue to be confused by CR's low rating of the TE's in reviews like this. Did they do a poor job? I didn't see any big misses, catching or blocking. In fact, the few times they were used, I thought they did well.
IMHO, their low usage was on the coaching and/or QB, therefore, the players themselves shouldn't be downgraded with a rating that should be reflected elsewhere... which brings up a topic many of you have suggested in the past: why don't these "grades" include Coaching as a category (or maybe even categories, given how variable our performance seems to be across the various coaches)?
Re: Social media sounds off on latest officiating issues coming out of Georgia-Florida game
There were so many missed holding calls on Florida…UGA's #0 was held big time on the "no catch" play that was reviewed.
If that holding had been called, the catch wouldn't have been an issue either way.
