Re: UGA baseball 2025
Looks like weather is going to be a factor. Gametime pushed to 530 EDT.
Sooners have a stable of Lefthanders to throw at us and they will. Beating Kentucky gets them in the NCAA tournament.
We won 2 of 3 in Athens with hitting homers leading the way. They match up well and The Dawgs are streaky and over due for a winning streak. Our pitching is good and Quinn will start doesn’t give up many runs or walks.

Re: UGA baseball 2025
I was about to ask for opinions on what effect our performance in the SEC Tournament might have on our seeding and position entering the national tournament. Thankfully, I re-read your post above which gives me some insight in that area.
So we get Oklahoma. Any thoughts on how we matchup or what to look for as we watch this game?
I appreciate your contributions to this thread as I have benefited greatly from them. I look forward to your thoughts on our team going forward.
I’m very excited and can hardly wait to see us play again. GO DAWGS!!!

Re: Georgia athletic director Josh Brooks weighs in on hot football general manager topic
It seems to me UGA has a "GM". CKS. He is the focal point that uses all the information gathered from a very talented staff of assistants and administrators. At some point will CKS want a guy that deals only with the money and NIL management? It could happen IF NIL continues to be a rule-less free for all. Those day do seem to be numbered.
IF NIL continues to be a rule-less free for all we might see CKS pull a Saban and leave CFB. The NFL would be an option for CKS. Maybe not his most desirable option. However, CKS is too young to retire and the NFL would be an option with rules and structure.
Right now talent acquisition in CFB is lawless. Talent acquisition in the NFL completely structured with all encompassing rules and standards.
IF UGA ever does have a "GM" for football you can bet the farm that that person will report to CKS. He won't be between Smart and Brooks.

Re: Kirby Smart knows Georgia football will need serious contributions for ânewbiesâ in 2025
How do you get them ready? Play them in a game. Not just 5 snaps. If they put in the work, put them on the field
