Re: Braves 2025
Play that tells you all you need to know about Mets fans. 5th inning foul ball by Alonso was barehanded by Mets fan except he used the hand he was holding his phone! Expensive souvenir as his camera lens was smashed to pieces!
Re: College football world feeling tremors of change once again, CFP field likely to expand
I don't know about you.…but, the CFP games I saw, last year.…were no better than the Bowl games of the past…imo.
The only difference is...there's not as much fanfare or excitement as a Bowl...outside of the 2 teams on the field and their fanbases.
I dont know if all that matters, though. The Bowls were a dying event, anyway. There was such a hunger for money, with the increase of opportunities to capitalize.
The Bowl Menu had become crowded and less competitive. Kind of like, what they're trying to do to the CFB Playoff in the name of "Inclusiveness & Politics".....otherwise known as...."Greed & Gluttony". Lol
The advent of cable & satellite broadcasting.....along with broadband internet provided additional money-making opportunities that weren't there, when the Bowl System was introduced.
Else....maybe, this us where we probably would've ended up, a looong time ago. And, UGA would have 5 or 6 more Natty's than they have right now.
Too bad for the rest of the league...the Dawgs are positioned perfectly, for this new Era of CFB. Time to play Catch-Up! Lol.…move over OSU and Notre Dame...we're comin' through.
Re: College football world feeling tremors of change once again, CFP field likely to expand
Sankey bought in to the new SOS metric because he was for 9 conference game scheduling from the beginning. It gave him cover to make the move. We just don’t know enough about this metric yet to trust it will give credit where credit is due.
Re: Georgia football: DawgNation predicts the regular season record
8-4. Why? Mainly due to the QB play. I’ve said it before, GS is a GREAT backup QB. Heck, he’d probably make a really good starter at somewhere like App State. I saw what I needed to see against a pretty weak ND team. Reminds me of a Greg Talley or James Jackson (not an Aaron Murray or Stetson Bennett). Throw in the fact that CMB is going to be EXTREMELY conservative in his play calling (which he’ll receive most of the blame for the mediocre performance from the position). The fact is, we’re going to have several games in which we only score 14-20 points, which just ain’t going to cut it. The losses? Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, and either Ole Miss, Auburn or possibly even GT. And then there’s Florida. Should we beat these teams? Yes. As I said, QB controversy is coming by mid-October. I hope I’m wrong, but something tells me I’m not.
Re: Georgia football: DawgNation predicts the regular season record
12 & 0 FWIS - only losers think they will lose before the game is even played. Pretty that is what we have, a bunch of winners…..just “axe” them.
The remaining 3 or 4 games or whatever it IZ now - dawgs will win out.
Re: Georgia football: DawgNation predicts the regular season record
11-1. Just hope to avoid the injury bug that has been plaguing us lately.
Re: 5 fearless Georgia football predictions for 2025 season one week from season opener
He could stand to lose more than a few pounds..he's affectionately known as our old (13 years) "fat boy" lol

Re: 5 fearless Georgia football predictions for 2025 season one week from season opener
can he throw it over them mountains?

Re: Georgia football 2025 season: Who will be the offensive MVP?
can’t mention JT without mentioning his injuries of which he had plenty. He medically retired after his last year at Rice. Never understand why people drag JT. Guy was the epitome of a team player. Never griped about losing his job. Yet people always want to lessen his contributions for some reason.

Re: Christen Miller ready for the âburdenâ that comes with being the best Georgia football DL
"He’s been Georgia’s most disruptive defensive lineman during fall camp, though that might not be saying all that much given what else Georgia has on the defensive line."
This makes me continue to wonder what is going on with the development of Jordan Hall. The "radio silence" throughout the Spring, Summer, and now Fall about his progress is concerning. Not that he would be directly compared to Miller, but I am expecting him to bring some disruption as Miller draws a lot of attention from the opposing OL. The quote from the article that I have added at the top of my comment is definitely not what I was expecting to be reading about a Dawgs Defense! I hope he (Hall) has been severely underestimated and that he has a surprise waiting for all those who have overlooked him.
GO DAWGS!
