Here is my two cents. IMO the only sequel series that comes into my mind that did well (for me) with each movie being simply GREAT??
The Godfather series.
That’s all I can think of, when I think of how many other movies always just either didn’t quite live up to the first EPIC, or in the case of Gladiator?, just flopped completely.

May be tempting fate here, but Bravos go up 6-1 in the 7th on a Sean Murphy grand slam. Schwelly throwing a 3 hitter with 12Ks in 7 full innings. Interesting to see if Snit lets him go out for the 8th or goes to the pen instead.

Whew!! Bravos hold on for a 6-1 win. Bullpen, for once, help up with 2 innings of scoreless ball. Good bounce back win after the 13-0 drubbing last night. Fingers crossed for a series win tomorrow. Schwellenbach was magnificent, 3 hits and 12 K's in 7 innings. ERA nearing sub 3.0.
