Re: Braves 2025
Just when one thought not much else could go wrong for the Braves - they took another hit - a BIG one. Spencer Schwellenbach has been put on the IL.
Schwellenbach has fractured elbow, lands on injured list
Braves might as well sell what they can and get what they can and plan for next year. At least Verdugo is no longer around to depress me.
Re: Georgia announces target date for planned concert in Sanford Stadium
I figured we'd hear from the "you kids get off my turf!" faction. 😉
Re: ESPN tabs freshman RB Bo Walker as Georgia football 'sleeper' for 2025 season
And, don't forget little Knowshon Moreno. Probably would've set the world on fire, himself...if Richt hadn't Redshirted him in his Freshman year.
Richt, once said...that (RS'ing Knowshon) was his biggest mistake, while coaching UGA. No telling what he could've done…or, where the Dawgs would've finished the 2006 season, with Him in the rotation.
They lost to both Kentucky...and Vanderbilt.…and finished 4-4 in the SEC….before beating #5 Auburn and #15 Ga Tech, to finish off the season. Also, winning their Bowl Game against UV?. Not bad...but, not great. I think that was "The Joe Cox Year". Lol
Re: Braves 2025
I don't necessarily buy into that. "many people" have yet to show what the Braves are doing in their "strength" program or to point out how it has changed since they won a world series a few years back or how it differs from any other program in MLB. S&C has come a long way in baseball and the science is there for all to see/use. I suspect there is a bit of an art to it as well. I'm not from Missouri, but show me what they are doing and why it isn't "good enough".
