Re: ESPN tabs freshman RB Bo Walker as Georgia football 'sleeper' for 2025 season
Lucy, you often take the words out of my mouth, agreeing with you 90% of the time. But not sure about this one. Yes, OL is absolutely essential to any decent run game and RB. But if I understand you correctly, I think you're underselling Frazier. Last year's OL was a massive disappointment, especially the run game. I'm not necessarily saying Frazier is Gurely or Chubb caliber… after all, that's pretty rare air... but I think he can be a really special back and open a butt-ton of eyes if the OL gets back to road grading. Go Dawgs!
Re: Braves 2025
swilk - I'm getting that same feeling. They are just lifeless on offense and the pitching rotation is a MASH unit. Wait til next year!!
Re: Braves 2025
Ive held out hope for a turnaround. Now all I can hear is "Dandy" Don Meredith singing….
Turn out the lights….the parties over.

Re: New collegiate sports transfer portal set to open Monday
I am with Kirby on this. Screw the April portal, that is halfway to the season opener. That also allows teams that have not done as good job at roster building/management, for whatever reason, to have a cheat code or a life raft basically, for not running their program or putting in the hard work as well as the better ones or just did a bad job and then try and come poach their players with cash instead to bail their butts out. Again, screw that!
Re: New collegiate sports transfer portal set to open Monday
@ColumbusDawg Kirby's portal philosophy makes sense. I almost wonder if the Big Ten wants April so its big money schools can poach of the SEC transfers — remember, the SEC doesn't allow transfers within the league in April, so it's open season
