These young guys need to grow their a** up.
Re: New details emerge following the arrest of Georgia OL Jahzare Jackson
As a high profile person, one has to be smarter. If you "must" smoke, then do it at your place not in your car. Don't risk your opportunity to play for the greatest team in cfb over something ****.
Looking for 3 -4 Ole Miss Tickets
If anyone has 3 or 4 tickets they are looking to sell for the Ole Miss game this year and they havent posted them online yet, please let me know. Im trying to find something on the GA side around section 129-134.

Re: Raise for Georgia Tech OC Buster Faulkner further ensures heâll be a problem for Georgia
Only 1.5M?
So, not a Mike hater at all but if Bobo doesn't work out we can still steal Buster and bring him home, yes?

Re: New details emerge following the arrest of Georgia OL Jahzare Jackson
3.1 OZ? That's not consumption, son that's distribution. "Rolling table"? You roll with your fingers for consumption. You roll with a rolling table for volume (distribution). Again distribution? I'm guessing that the NCAA/UGA doesn't test for marijuana use. Still against the law in GA.
@khummel when you have to police a city of 40,000 young knuckleheads (hooked on Fast and Furious) you have to be more aggressive. The biggest knuckleheads seem to be UGA football players. They seem to always get caught up in the web while they know aggressive police are out there.
I actually believe CKS LIKES the aggressive law enforcement in Athens. 1) that's where he and his family drive around in their cars and 2) weeds (no pun intended) out the less committed/more selfish/ more interested in fun players from the team.
I do have one problem with marijuana law enforcement. "Under the influence" equates to "impaired". There is no threshold like the .08 (low) threshold enforced for blood alcohol content. I have not seen the studies like we saw with alcohol to define when impairment occurs. It is well known that marijuana does not effect motor skills like alcohol does.

CMB retire? 50 yo guys don't walk away from $1.5M/yr jobs. CMB will hang on to his (lucrative) coaching career as long as he possibly can. Even Saban (who has more money than Gawd) is hinting at a return to coaching at 73.
GT's last 5 recruiting classes(Rivals) ('21-'25): 43, 56, 63, 33, 24. For that talent level to hang w/UGA is puzzling if not embarrassing.

Re: Raise for Georgia Tech OC Buster Faulkner further ensures heâll be a problem for Georgia
you also forgot to mention having Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb who are probably in the top 3 of UGA RBs all time. That was also over ten years ago so the game has changed a bit.
Bobo looked fine in 2023. He looked unimaginative and uncreative in 2024. In 2025 we will find if that’s a personnel issue(OL, pass catchers) or a coaching issue (Bobo). Time will tell and the roster has been upgraded leading me to believe it’s at least partially personnel driven.

Re: Raise for Georgia Tech OC Buster Faulkner further ensures heâll be a problem for Georgia
No doubt he has proven himself and is a good OC…and you’re probably right, he may be the first choice to succeed Bobo - and by all counts, a good one.
I also think Bobo is an excellent OC. Bobo, Hutson Mason and the ‘14 team broke a school record for scoring that year. I wouldn’t exactly call that a super talented team as SEC teams go. That was quite a feat.
But if Kirby likes Bobo, so do I - he is closer to the situation than all of us here.
For now, Bobo is the OC and it does no good to talk about the situation, other than to stir up traffic here.
But again - what the hay, it is talking season.
Re: Raise for Georgia Tech OC Buster Faulkner further ensures heâll be a problem for Georgia
Like Kirby, ive gotta give props to both Faulkner, and King. Haynes King is a heckuva QB, he is a tough young man who never quits. And Faulkner has proven in 1 year as an OC why he will eventually become a head coach (and probably end up being a good one). He has a bright mind, and the willingness to work. That usually equates into success. If Faulkner can utilize Kings talents to the fullest, and get help from the offense, they could be a dangerous opponent for many teams they face this season. Still a DAWG all day, every day, but DO NOT overlook tech this year, or they could end UGA's season on a sour note. It is no longer an almost certain win as it once was..GoDAWGS!

Good Lord....Lolol..…this kid could teach a course on the subject.
You gotta respect that kind of commitment. Lol. He deserves a 2nd chance.....and a few laps around Athens for being such a knucklehead.
I'm surprised there isn't a lot more of this, after the 2020 shutdown that kept kids of certain States [California] out of school and away from anything fun.....for nearly 2 years! That group of young people, that were in Middle School, at the time, are just hitting the market.
Jackson was one of em....and, California was/is one of the worst States in the US, to raise a family...or, grow up innocent. Kirby SHOULD fix him, if he can. He has my support, until there's a reason not to give it. Lol
