Re: Braves 2026
In other games, the Nats crushed the Mets 14-2. The Nats had 15 hits, but also had 15 strikeouts. Sign of the times.

Re: Braves 2026
How hot are the Braves? They got shut down most of the night by the AL Cy Young award winner the last two years…and still won.
Olson is in absolute beast mode. Primed for a huge year. He is so patient at the plate and forces counts where he gets ahead. Then he pounces.
Another series win. Just unreal.

Re: Nick Peal: The unlikely story of the last 2026 Georgia football commitment
I've always loved those short, quick running backs built like a Brick %&*^house. I've also loved those taller very fast running backs that will run you over—-AKA Todd Gurley.
Re: Georgia football 2027 NFL draft prospects to know include multiple first-round talents
My comments, vis a vis this article, were solely regarding #'s 1 and 4. There are 8 or 9 5* players on the '26 D. I would expect a number of them to develop and reach 1st rd status by the time they become eligible for the NFL draft.
RWilson took a big step forward last year. His recognition and instincts seemed to finally catch up with his physical abilities. IF he can take the next step (and stay healthy) he should have an excellent year and put himself in the 1st rd conversation.
Another good candidate for a break out year would be CCole. The sky is the limit for this player. How will he be used by CGS? THAT is the key. CKS and CGS need to turn this dude loose this fall.
@BigDawg61 You are right. KJ vs Downs were considered equally talented players coming out of HS. I hadn't really thought of the 2 in comparison. The perception (reality?) is that Downs was one of the best players in CFB last season. KJ? Not in the conversation. However if you look at the stats, other than the big year Downs had as a FR at AL, their stats are relatively comparable. IF KJ has a BIG year this year (fully expected) it will be interesting to compare their career stats after the season.

Re: Georgia football defense depth chart, starters following spring practice
Believing Chris Cole may be outstanding. He’s a big and fast player. Wanting to see him dominate.
Re: Georgia football defense depth chart, starters following spring practice
Based on what we have been hearing here this spring and what has been written above by CR, it appears that Chase Linton is making an impression and moving up the depth chart. Unfortunately that may be coming at the expense of another high ranked prospect. Isaiah Gibson seems to be moving the wrong way on the depth chart. Hopefully we are not seeing another Marvin Jones Jr trajectory from a 5* recruit at the OLB position.

Re: Kirby Smart admits how âpainfulâ Gabe Harris injury was to Georgiaâs 2025 season
He's a super star. Big money in his future. But you can't have just one. You have to have three. I'm sure that any recruiting guys at Georgia would say sure, but there aren't three like him in the Southeast. And that's the tough part of college coaching.
Re: Kirby Smart admits how âpainfulâ Gabe Harris injury was to Georgiaâs 2025 season
@navydawg -Amen brother! Gabe has shown exactly what you want to see in a football player. Men like him are becoming fewer and fewer these days. I’m pulling for Gabe to be an All- America selection. He deserves it.
Re: Kirby Smart admits how âpainfulâ Gabe Harris injury was to Georgiaâs 2025 season
Turf toe is a very serious and difficult injury to return from. Just ask Deion "Eight Toes" Sanders. Better get next man up ready.

Re: Illinois coach calls out Georgia again over Josh McCray transfer after fake social media post
Made up? I am assuming you can read and know how to google. But that's what you do when when your argument is FOS. Deflect.
This conversation was had before MI (w/5 transfer starters beat Blue Blood UConn in the championship). In fact in the last 22 season of CBB if you add FU (Donovan and MVP Clayton) to the 5 Blue Blood programs (UConn, NC, Duke, KY, Kan) , the Blue Blood programs have won 16 or 22 championships. That leaves 6 championships for 4 other programs. In 22 years. You do the math. Oh , right you have trouble with math.
It is a good thing you don't read my posts. You would be ashamed to comment here again.
