Re: Georgia secondary goes back to work after âmore bad than goodâ showing
I think KJ should just "Bullard" him in the first half!!

I feel sorry for the guy who has to cover Williams...not something anyone wants to do.
Re: 5 things learned about Georgia from win at Tennessee, what it means for Gunner Stockton
SWPO4- yes, I think Bobo get's validation for his running game adjustments. He's getting close to 200 yards per game, and they know it's coming. Gunner's legs make a huge difference, because they force safety's to stay home. His downfield and Tight End passing also helps freeze safety's and Lb's. If you are going to run outside, you have to run up the middle some. That's why having glover and gaston play well really helps. They are improving. We'll see how they do against Bama's front.
Re: Georgia secondary goes back to work after âmore bad than goodâ showing
Everybody has to do their job. You can’t cover all day if there is no pressure. Linebackers need to drop and cover their area of responsibility - unless there is a blitz call or run play (read their keys).
Thought there were a couple of fluke plays in the secondary. Not as bad as it looked imo. In that environment big plays are gonna happen…good news is, they played better after the 1st qtr & we came out with a win.
That was a hard offense to cover. A veer, rpo’s, misdirection plays, fast pace, no huddle, good running team and hot as hayul with a deafening crowd.
Great learning experience imo, it helps them grow up in a hurry.

yes sir, Branch needs to be more involved. Great hands and speed to match

Re: Georgia secondary goes back to work after âmore bad than goodâ showing
"On the most important drive of the game, Georgia’s secondary forced two incompletions in overtime to limit Tennessee to a field goal."
The pressure on the QB was the difference maker on those plays. If you go back and watch that 3rd down play in OT you'll see Georgia bringing a blitz and it didn't matter who was open and who wasn't because Aguilar was running for his life! Without any help, the four DL had no impact on the QB in the first half. The best way to help these corners against these tall, fast receivers is to find a way to get to the QB.
GO DAWGS!
