Re: Braves 2026
I think you are right.
We are way better at SS this year. Albies is having a nice start I like hitting him third against Lefties. Olson is absolutely destroying balls. Baldwin is a complete hitter. Riley and Acuna will get it going at some point. Offense is solid.
Then you have Elder off to a flying start. Sale may not be as dominant as years past but he is still really good. Reynoso usually pitches well when he is healthy. Holmes can pitch. And you have guys coming back from injury. The bullpen has been lights out.
Remember when we were worried because we lost Profar? Remember that guy? We shouldn't have worried. At least so far he hasn't been missed.
Weiss is running the team well gonna be fun watching them this Summer.

His dad's brother is married to his sister? Still working on that one. Could be a keeper or just another OV passing through
Re: Braves 2026
Will soon know if 2026 Braves are contenders or pretenders. Multiple series coming up vs last season playoff teams. Mid May we will know, my money which i have very little of says contenders.

Re: Todd Monken on Stetson Bennett: âI tried everything I could early in his career to not play himâ
Johnny left for the NFL after two years playing full time. Stetson was in the college game for six years. Twice as long as Johnny. Johnny’s problem was inside his head, never his physical traits.
Bryce was the first overall pick on the worst team in the league. Of course he was gonna play right away. He may not be as good in the pros, but that’s common.
Stetson is currently playing behind a future HOFer and a pretty good QB who’s played for a Super Bowl. This summer will be huge for Stetson. If he doesn’t make a leap he might get cut.

Re: Todd Monken on Stetson Bennett: âI tried everything I could early in his career to not play himâ
For fun, compare stats of SB and Johnny Manziel. Size is the same. Speed the same. SB had better yards in college. Yet, for whatever reason, SB was considered a low tier guy and Manziel was a first rounder. Bryce Young was actually shorter, but already a starter. ESPN has tremendous power picking winners and losers.
I hope SB uses the motivation to learn all he can and be ready for his moment.

Can anyone translate this into plain English?
