Re: Final grades from Georgia football bounce back win over Tennessee
I'm concerned about Georgia Tech's running game and our ability to control the perimeter.
It is not Chaz's major strength.
In my opinion Tech is very dangerous team. I'm sure nobody in Athens is taking them for granted. They're a rival. They love to beat us; it's their Super Bowl. It is a huge and important game for the Dawgs.
Kirby and Company have to figure it out.
I doubt anybody is overlooking next Saturday's opponent either. On any given Saturday…
Go, Dawgs!
Re: Final grades from Georgia football bounce back win over Tennessee
Guilty as charged about Chambliss. 🤷♂️
I will eat some crow on some of it, but not all of it. He still cannot set the edge like a typical Kirby Smart coached 4 ⭐️ + recruit can-but I will give him some props for his above the clouds performances he has pulled off in 3 games this season.
You guys better watch how he plays against the BUGS and their jet sweep that ate Miami alive before you go heaping too much praise on this guy. If we lose to the BUGS or it’s close because they run all over the place, I predict based on past play of Chambliss (see ANY game against Jalen Milroe) that he will be the weak link at his ILB spot.
Now as far as Dan Jackson is concerned-I think the comparisons to negative things said about both is overblown as far as Jackson is concerned. Dan plays way over his head and does the little things well- despite his not being a physical specimen like others in the secondary. I have never poo-pooed Dan on this site-I think highly of the dude and have for years. He is a solid player and has shown growth over 3 seasons.
Quick note: I don’t think it is a coincidence that with Mondon back on the field after 5+ weeks, that Chambliss has more than benefitted from that. Just saying!
Go Dawgs!!
Re: AP Poll Top 25 rankings for Week 13: Georgia football jumps back into top 10 after beating Tennessee
Poor Ole Miss…..Kiffin must be boiling now seeing his team ranked behind us in both the AP and the Coaches Poll…even though they will probably be ranked higher than us in the CFP rankings as @Brooksie said!
🤣😎
