Re: Braves 2025
Honest question here for my fellow Braves fans. We currently sit at 10 games under 500 (27-37). 14 games out of first place, 4th place in the East and only 2.5 games out of last place. We are roughly 40% of the way though the season. I see no signs of life from this team that gives me any real confidence that we will get things turned around and make a post season run….. maybe I'm misreading it, but I don't think so. All that said, are we buyers or sellers at the trade deadline? If we sell, who's out the door? If we buy, who could we bring in that would make a real difference?

you get it…thank you for saying it

Re: 3 issues Kirby Smart identified as problematic with House vs. NCAA settlement
love of money

Re: 3 issues Kirby Smart identified as problematic with House vs. NCAA settlement
Money. The root of all evil.
Re: 3 issues Kirby Smart identified as problematic with House vs. NCAA settlement
seems like a lot of collateral damage to college sports. Most of this could have been adverted if they only started paying them instead of the farce NIL solution where the NCAA attempted to save their control
Re: 3 issues Kirby Smart identified as problematic with House vs. NCAA settlement
I hate to say it but coaches, universities, conferences, & the NCAA can whine all they want about roster management, loss of infrastructure, loss of traditions, & the impact on college athletics. They brought this on themselves with insane coaches salaries, buyouts, runaway recruiting budgets, & more money spent on facilities than some countries GDP!
in the end, tradition, student athletes & the fans are the ones who will lose. A month before media days & inside of 60 days before fall camp, I could care less about the upcoming season. Money & greed have displaced the traditions of a beautiful fall Saturday on a college campus cheering on your school.
